Hi @Samantha… are ‘Rare’ monuments actually BETTER than their ‘Regular’ counterparts? Why does a warning appear when using them to evolve another monument?

Megroot, rare monuments are not better or worse than regular monuments in terms of payouts. They are actually rarer and always golden in color.It was assumed that they will be treasured by most players, but however, if they do not fit into the scheme of your city, by all means use them to evolve other monuments. The warning is just so that players don’t unwittingly make a mistake.

Rare monuments are just a color variant. You have a chance of getting them when building/evolving monuments.
Jimee is correct. They do not have a higher value than a monument that is not rare.
