@DB4LBroncos once you choose and purchase the outfit, hairstyle and extras you want to make a custom avatar, you “own” those items. Then you can use the same outfit, change anything else about the avatar you want and only pay for the cost of any items you don’t already own plus the 50 avatar tokens fee, to make a new version of your avatar in that outfit. Once you own a selection of outfits and extras you can mix and match them and only pay the 50 token fee when you make a new combination. To change hair, eye or skin color you must remake the avatar you want the change(s) on and only pay the 50 token fee.
Not sure what you mean by seeing everything. As I told @Eddi_Bets above, you can sort the outfits and extras into Already Owned and Not Owned. Once you choose a hairstyle and outfit, go to the Extras tab and you’ll see all the accessories that are available to you. If you want to try different accessories on different outfits, you can choose them, then return to the Outfits page and it will show for instance, your hat selection, on all the outfits you own or can buy. Hope this helps make the system clearer. GL!
Buying items: Once you’re satisfied with your custom avatar choices of outfit and extras, move to the Checkout tab. It will show the itemized prices for anything you’ve selected but don’t already own, and how many total Avatar Tokens and/or gems it will cost.
I’m not sure what you mean about being auto hit every month for gems. The only monthly charge I’m aware of is $20 if you’re a VIP. This entitles you to many extras and to collect the prizes on both sides of the Monthly Reward Road, which includes gems and other items for completing the Daily and Monthly Challenges.
RIght @Eddi_Bets, I didn’t mean it would show you more new items, only that you won’t have to wade thru items you already own to see what’s new. It’s true that you need to buy to get more choices. Often that only means you’ll see the same outfit/extra though, but in a different color or pattern. You really have to buy a lot of different outfits to increase your overall different choices.
If you pass on an item the first time it shows up in your choices, you may or may not ever see it again. One of my friends wanted the shiny red bodysuit, but she didn’t buy it when she saw it. She had to wait a whole year before it was offered to her again.
Another big frustration here is that you get shown outfits, but the extra selections don’t match them. So if you see an outfit you want but nothing to go with it, you have to buy it, put it away and hope the matching extras show up. One friend of mine is still waiting on the matching tail to go with her recent purchase of the tiger pj’s and matching hood.
So I will receive a $20 charge every month on my card account? That’s where I started. The $19.99 for 1000 + I receive the 20% additional gems. That was my question. Expect my account to be charged every month. Then the question of will it be on the day every month after I joined? I’m retired and on a budget so no unexpected charges surprise me. Just need to plan for it.
The avatar situation is starting to make sense to me. The other thing is the moves. How do you change those?
What is buying items? I guess this is a main part of my confusion??
Thanks for assisting me with this. Can you answer another question for me. Will I be “auto” hit every month for gems? I would prefer I only purchase when I need, rather than have this deducted from my account every month.

I have 5 in my inventory + the one I’m using now. I should have never spent all those avatar tokens, but that’s on me not just collecting. That’s why I had the question if I can use them to trade up LOL
I meant retire as in I stopped using her, I don’t know how to get rid of her. Perhaps other players who use more of the pre-built ones will know if or how you delete them and whether there’s a refund policy
If you delete a custom avatar outfit combination then you retain the wardrobe items as owned, so can reuse them without paying for them with avatar tokens again and you receive a 5 avatar token refund
A few wardrobe items will change most days but not many and you see so much variation in other players outfits but I suspect it’s stuff they collected over a period of years. Submit a request to ask customer services if there’s anything you can do with the ones you no longer want to maybe recycle them back into avatar tokens. I wouldn’t put money on it because then you won’t buy gems to spend but it costs nothing asking the question
I waited over a year for the fish shoal wings to reappear and I agree the matching items is a big irritation I am waiting too on the tail for the tiger onesie & hood
I don’t really worry about how I look.
I came here to play Mahjong so for the most part all anyone sees is my head in the room side bar apart from going to grab & go parties for unicorn charms but even then I’m in & out because I spend my time pass rich and gem poor.
I am very disciplined, I don’t chase pet rewards, I don’t spend gems on outfits, all my gems go into building my city because I will get a return from it
I kinda feel like that too. Don’t care what I look like much, but would like to make a look desirable to me that isn’t a replicate of someone else. I do attend a lot of parties when I have the passes and sometimes just hide LOL… Also keep bouncing around trying to find that secret spot behind the line. LOL…But you’re right… can’t see anything but your face sitting in a game room
I love playing Mahjong too and reached the end but still pick random games. Same goes with Lilypad where I am also at the end. Wish both of those added new worlds.
Along with your advice and others, concentrate on my city. I’ve been afraid to reduce buildings but those cheap ass charms are boring. But it seems I’m receiving those same cheap ass charms from my five 7 tier buildings.
Thanks again for chatting with me. I have so many friends that I accepted and I don’t chat with any of them. Not sure why they requested my friendship. And a LOT of them have those fancy avatars I’ve been referring to.

Building your city is key to progression. As it becomes more valuable overall the earning of coins, charms and gems from it increases but it’s a long slow process unless you decide to spend too much money on what is just a game.
If you haven’t already I would say read Night Guy’s tips and tricks posting but scale it to your disposable income.
I have a building programme but it’s nowhere near the scale he can achieve but the principles still work even if your resources are limited. I achieved VIP for life after almost a 1000 days here, (more time as a VIP than a Tourist) and started on the Crown trail but quickly realised achieving Crown status didn’t make me instantly rich, it makes it possible to reach and maintain a viable in-game income to keep your crown progression going but you still need a building programme because without doubt your best treasure box returns come in the new building honeymoon period.
I still have a lot more buildings than monuments, because I prefer to use buildings to evolve my monuments than other monuments.
I’m enjoying the games I play that’s all that matters
I am taking yours and others advise about working my city. I went and upgraded everything I had available to monuments. It’s a long process, but I’m understanding that now. I can see how this will take some time, but being retired, I don’t have a lot else to do… LMFAO!!
The overall gem value of your city is what influences what you get in your treasure boxes. The initial days after a purchase (the HMP) comes with a bonus to the value of the building so you should see that in your treasure boxes.
Personally I prefer the look of more of the buildings than the monuments, and to evolve monuments using buildings rather than other monuments because at Level 1 to 2, and Level 2 to 3 you can do it with 3 buildings if you have the right value ones and then your overall city gem value remains the same but you have lost fewer buildings. Each to our own eh!

I sincerely appreciate your responding to my questions and educating me from your experience. I am retired and use this place as a distraction. I am just trying to enjoy this place to the fullest while doing so. And I’m enjoying being here for all the reasons this place offers.

That is exactly the feature from 7Seas that we’ve been wanting in CW for a while! In 7Seas, when you purchase an accessory (not an outfit), you are presented with the main item and can just pick the color. It would make things so much easier to group similar items together and select the color, rather than scrolling through multiple variations of the exact same accessory. Unfortunately, 7Seas’ avatar selection for items you’ve already purchased is just like Casino World’s.
I have over 800 custom avatars in my CW inventory now, and it has gotten to the point where I don’t even look for them anymore. I just make a new one whenever I want a change because it takes way too long to scroll through everything. The outfit/accessory section is starting to get a little overwhelming too - scrolling is really a chore. 7Seas makes the shop so much simpler by providing color variations for each accessory, so you don’t have the same piece appearing seven different times. It only appears once and you just choose the color. I wish the same applied to all the items. I really wish there was a more efficient way to manage and store our inventory here on CW!
