I saw this city today, I instantly thought butterfly but the more I looked it’s the reflective nature of it that I find most captivating

Just came across this topic while I was trying to figure out why some of my buildings lose their border when I stack them – Noticed that Steve had captured my city at an earlier stage of design. I’ve updated it quite a bit since his last screen shot so thought I would share the current version. I wish I had seen this thread long long ago. So many cool designs I might have taken inspiration from. But for now I am quite happy with my design and have plans for some minor tweaking as I add more buildings and start stacking more. When you click party venues the party buildings light up in the shape of the upper part of the heart. Would love to see more cities as they come up. Thanks everyone for sharing.

** If you look at my monuments and mixology bldgs at the bottom left and right, you can see the border edge is not showing on some. Every time I fix it by lifting the bldg and placing it down again, the border edge fills in properly, but is back to missing again as soon as I close my city and come back to it. The fix just doesn’t stick. If anyone knows how to make this problem go away, please let me know. Thanks.

Here is a capture of my husband’s city – He has big plans but still struggling to get a good level of passes and gems from the game so it’s slow going for him for a while in building his city.

Thank-you for reminding us about this thread @Ancient_Echoes, it prompted me to revisit some of the cities that had captured my imagination in the past. This one has always been and remains a favourite but oh my how it’s developed!!

Thank you for highlighting my city! I am glad you like it. It’s mirrored on the horizontal axis, but the mirrored side is also flipped on the vertical axis. Since the time you took the pic, the template has stayed the same, but many of the ‘squares’ now have upgraded buildings and some greenery from the decorations.
