So I’m trying to figure out how this “Wheel Deal! Up to 60% off all Wheel Spins on Sea of Riches” is supposed to work.
I currently have some spins showing in my inventory as “free.” Since those are automatically used first, I can’t actually purchase the discounted spins yet. I assume once those are gone, the 60% discount will kick in—but in order to get there, I have to use the spins I already have.
Then I noticed something else. When I go to send a friend a gift, Wheel Spins are listed as an option, but they are showing at the regular price—not the advertised discounted price. I actually purchased 5 for friends today before I realized they weren’t discounted.
So, does the 60% off apply only to spins I purchase for myself after my existing spins are gone? Because the wording says “all Wheel Spins,” which would seem to include the ones available as gifts.
Maybe I’m missing something, but I’d love to make sure I’m taking advantage of the offer while it’s available.
Anyone have a workaround to make good on the opportunity of the discount?
That is the downside of the 60% off at the beginning of the month. We have free spins sitting that unless you use them up, you can’t buy any spins at the discount price. Bummer for sure.
If you used the free spins up, then the discount would show up. I used my free Bronze to complete a SOR fish challenge this morning and as soon as my free bronze were gone, then the 60% off displayed.
For some silly reason the discount only applies to spins you would need to buy to play yourself, but it is not included when you gift others, which i feel is absurd, but hey, what do I know LOL I think the discount should also apply to gifting to others.
I agree with you Night Owl. I bought just one for a friend and it wasn’t discounted so, it was the last one I sent. They would get us to spend a lot more with the discount going across the board to gifts.
