You can turn them off in your Game Settings.

Okay - I have to admit, I find the bats cute, but distracting. I have blocked a player for that very reason. That may seem callous, but I tend to concentrate playing Blackjack, and the bats flying around next to me sort of broke my concentration. In hindsight, I probably should have just left the table, but in the moment, I just hit the block. My bad 
The only thing I don’t like about the auras is that our caption is an inch & a half above your heads. No one knows who is talking.

OMG - this is great news!! I feel terrible about blocking people for something so small, but it is really annoying when they’re almost flying in my face as well! Thank you so very much for this tip - very appreciated!
