how do I find my requests that I submitted?
You can type your handle in the search function. That is the magnifying glass next to your image at the top of the Help page. Type it in and hit enter and all the topics with you should display
I usually get an email reply to say my request has been received and any reply to the request comes to the same email address

I think I read this incorrectly. The search mentioned would be for topics you have been a part of on this Help site.
If you used Submit a Request, as Eddi states normally I get an email at some point in time. But I am not sure there is a way to search Submit a Request.
