As the title suggests, for whatever reason, I’m not getting any background music playing in any of the slots. I get background music in the main menu, in rooms and locations, and in various other games (such as Blackjack, Mahjong, and Pirate War) but not slots (and I’ve tried several). Is anyone else having this issue?
I have sound on Mystic
@Michael_B17 Yeah, I tested it out, and the background music for Mystic Slots does indeed play for even me. But the background music for other slots does not. Can you test out other slot games and verify if the background music does or does not play?
I played 5 different slots game (and mystic) and all 5 had background music and sound
@Michael_B17 Let’s see if it’s possible to narrow this down. Would you try Turbo Shark Slots specifically, and let me know if any background music plays?
Yeah Turbo Shark has sound
@Michael_B17 But does it have background music? Does music play in the background even when you are not spinning the reels?
Not when im not spinning it only makes noise when I’m spinning
@Michael_B17 Yes! Perfect! Finally! We’ve successfully managed to replicate and isolate the bug. Now we know that this bug is affecting all users, and I’m not just crazy.
Anyhoo, I’m going to go open a formal ticket with tech support, although if a moderator or Admin could elevate this thread, I’d appreciate that too.
By the way, in case you’re curious, here’s what Turbo Shark is supposed to sound like:
Update: I contacted customer support, and they stated they removed the background music due to player feedback. I find this odd, and I don’t necessarily agree with permanently removing the music. Fortunately, I’ve already thought of a way to satisfy both parties using an already existing utility. If you click on the Pay Table of any slots games, you’ll see that Slots has an already existing Settings menu:
Right now, the only option is to “Enable faster auto spins” But with this menu, we could include the ability to enable the background music as well. It could look like this:
I get that I’m just one guy complaining about this, but I’m hoping the fix wouldn’t be so complicated that this idea wouldn’t just be discarded outright.
Damn…I was hoping it would be “Turbo shark, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, Turbo shark, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo…”
At this point, I’m just hoping for sound in general.
