overflow party

if u complete a party and people say there is an overflow party ,how do u get to it.

can u elaborate. what if by chance u have no friends in the party .

then your done find another party just like it I guess.

If you have a friend in the overflow you can follow them there like this.

  • On the left panel where names are listed, there are 3 tabs, the 3rd tab is friends.
  • Scroll down to your friends name and click it, select the locate button.
  • A window will pop up saying they are in a party room, would you like to join them?
  • Click yes.

If you don’t have a friend in overflow you can’t get there as far as I know unless someone in that room specifically invites you.

I think you should be able to whisper to the host before they leave the room and ask them to invite you to the overflow, if they do then following that invitation link should work too

One trick I have used in the past sometimes works. If I know about an overflow party and I know the host is likely to go to it, I click the host’s avatar before he or she goes. I click Locate and wait until the host fades out, and then I click to join the host in Overflow. This requires exact steps to work, but it’s worth a thought when those times do arise. YES, This is the Best way, but you have to be Friends with the Host and they have to be online. So try to be Friends with the Host of Parties you like to Attend. :smiley: Just “Click” on their face on the Bottom Left of your screen.

As the Host “Fades” out of the Main Party in to the O/F Party, “click” Locate.

If you answer YES, you will follow them to the O/F Party :smiley: If you end up back where you started, O/F is FULL :frowning:

Also, if you end up in O/F, you can use the same Tab to Whisper to them you are in O/F :smiley:

Just Whisper "o/f " and they will know you are there! They can then click on your face in their whisper and come to you. It is wise to tell the room the Host knows about O/F or many will leave making it harder to fill.

Also, be aware this only works for Friends and Make sure you are “online”! LOCATE only works for Friends Online. GL, Have FUN!!! :smiley:
