It appears to be indicating gems as potential rewards, when as far as I can tell the reward is coins only, can anyone confirm if gems are possible rewards?

Am I understanding this correctly? To be in the tournament you need to do the 100 spins at the stake shown on screen & that in the current tournament you can only win a prize for being in the bottom 10% playing The Submariners slot

The others say Top Dog so guessing only the 1 winner gets a prize?

I have the same problem. Freezing and having to reload about every 2 spins. I am lucky if it makes it 5 spins. Taking over an hour to complete a tournament.

If I understand it correctly at the high & low game 10% of the top & 10% of the bottom players ( together 20%) get a prize and Topdog has prizes for the top 20% of the players 
Prizepot depends on the number of players which have participated and thus contributed to the pot -pardon my French

So curiosity got the better of me and I entered a tournament, The Submariners one. My 100,000 coins stake bought me 100 spins with a fixed bet of 2,500 coins; at the time my spins finished I had scored 906,050 points and ranked 86th but the tournament still had 3 hours to run.
Also because I was curious (luckily I’m not a cat) I put a charm in play and even though I didn’t win any coins on the spins the charm did pay out. I used a Balm Tree charm because I have found it to pay out above the win amount in open play, however, in the tournament it paid below the win amount. I tried the same slot game in open play and the same Balm Tree charm resumed paying above the win rate.
I am merely recounting what I observed, not claiming any in-depth analysis, nothing scientific, nor statistically provable.
I have to say the format did not capture my imagination

I played Mystic Billions, thinking the 10,000,000 meant each bet amount. That was not the case! The 10,000,000 turned out to be the entry fee. The spin bet amount was predetermined and you cannot adjust it. I think it was 250,000 per bet. Not sure, but I assume we have overloaded the servers in our zeal to play a new contest - bcz my screen skipped, froze or locked in a spinning mode that never stopped. I finally managed to finish my 100 spins, but it was less than ideal. On the second contest I tried, it did the same thing. I got an error pop-up and the game was just continually spinning in the background w/o ever stopping.
Hopefully they can get it fixed.

Played tourneys last night and screen kept freezing. Today it was flickering. I’m guessing it’s just a crowded server. Of course, I could be way off course. Who knows.

It depends if the tourney is “Top Dog” or “high low”. Top dog you need to be in a top percentage and high low you need to be top or bottom percentage.

I hope they resolve the issue becuase I really enjoy the slot tourneys. I do however think they should add other game tourneys for those who prefer other games to slots. Just a suggestion.

I experienced screen stuttering, screen freezes and spin delays in the game when I played in the tournament but I wasn’t actually disconnected however much it seemed like I would be.
When I played The Submariners straight after I finished in the tournament there were no glitches at all.

I had the same issue with freezing screens tonight. Would freeze about every 2-3 spins and stay frozen for 15-20 seconds each time. Also, it would boot me out of CW for lagging and i had to reboot CW and relog back in several times!
Makes it hard to get excited about this and want to keep playing.
Also, some dam lucky players in this! Betting 2,500 per spin and the top three are 20-30 million and up! I think i finished with 600,000 LOL!
