Rarely does CW ever notify of changes or additions. If they do notify, its several days after changes have been made. New charms get added, robots get added, changes adding city features, to name a few.
I have noticed the emails and home menu promotions are always behind the changes happening.
I look for new things in alignment with the alternate Monday update schedule
