Why I love 3-Card Poker...

I play Mahjong and Jewels of Osiris mostly, and you could never call me skilled at Texas Hold’em - someone actually said in a game recently that I should learn when to fold - I was tempted to reply that I should learn how to play first but didn’t in case they thought I was taking the mickey.
As for slots, well they don’t call them one armed bandits for no reason

LOL! I appreciate the info @Night_Guy has provided. IRL this is great for a Real Life Casino, but this is not that! This is CasinoWorld, a Fantasy Game. We Build our Cities to increase our TBs to get more PartyPasses so we can go to Parties to get Charms! Bigger Cities, More Passes, Bigger Parties, Bigger/MORE Charms! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Even though @papa_meester is right, I personally do not care and do NOT FOLD because if I do I will not get my Charm Payout! :sob: I do not even have to think, just click bet/play. And AutoEquipCharms loads Nectar for me! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

@Big_E_2 and @NashRivers won 100sM Coins with NO Charms!:money_mouth_face:

This Topic is “Why I love 3-Card Poker…” and I do because Nectar Sets Cash Out Completely and will pay me 100M+ Win/Lose/Draw… If I do NOT FOLD! Yachts and Wine too! None of the Leaders on the Board I contacted FOLD either. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

100Hands at 4Sets (20) Nectars = 2000Nectars = +/- 12B Coins

6 seconds per hand = 600 seconds = 10 minutes

So even if I LOSE 8%….I don’t care because I got 11B towards my Crown in 10 minutes! :money_mouth_face:

It takes me Longer to Cash Out 2000 Unicorns on SparkPlug Poker on 100Hands/50K for 5M bet to get my 10B! I have no idea how much I LOSE on that game. I just know I got my 10B Fast and am Happy, LOL

What bothers me more than anything is going to X10Unicorn Party and getting 260 Unicorns worth 22M per set! That’s LOSING!

Arent unicorns approx. 25mil a set? Hmm, i ve never had that happen to me yet lol, ive always gotten the same no matter if its x10 or x2, but that doesnt mean it cant happen, ill just hope it doesnt happen to me lol.

I have noticed that the pay outs do vary @CaptainCrow but I have no idea if it is to do with the size of party or not.
I go to whatever size of party that I have the passes for and because I only play unicorns in Mahjong it can be a few days and parties between collecting them and cashing them out so I don’t know which one they came from.
I know back in February I was getting pay outs of 97,108,964 for 20 unicorns (24.2m per set) which is the lowest I have in my tracking. Yesterday I was getting 101,817,852 for 20 (25.4m per set) and I’ve had lots of other amounts in between and the highest I have a record for is 101,994,944 for 20.
It’s rare it happens on a Mahjong board but if a clear a board with a part spent set of unicorns in the buffer I don’t let then go back into the charm store - I just find somewhere to play them out

@CaptainCrow They are aprox 25mil each set for me when i play Mahjong, the only place I use my ponies. It is typically between 24.9 and 25mil per set each time no matter where or how I collect my ponies or how long I have them in storage before I use them. My ponies are usually my main builder of coins towards my level increases each month. I host 10x Pony Parties and I collect them all month and then just before the end of the month I use them on Mahjong and get the same payout each time. At least for me this is how it works.

For anyone interested, here’s my analysis on charm cost vs. coin value. It’s hidden in the middle of that big tips thread, so many people may have missed it. Basically, it’s all random but range-bound, and there is a true average:

@Everyone I have stressed this multiple times, as always, just play what you enjoy and have fun.
Sometimes ignorance is bliss! :slightly_smiling_face:

Lol ya i never worry about a few mil anyways tbh, i just play what i want. I know i prob dont always get the max. amount from my charms but i just truly hate Mahjong and i also hate 3 card poker as well so im kinda boned when it comes to getting the maximum amount of coins but idc id rather just enjoy the games i like.

@Eddi_Bets Same thing was told to me at a Texas Hold’Em, that I should know when to fold. I just ignored them and kept on playing the way I wanted to.

Y’all think too much.

I prefer to play 3 hands.

I keep the Charm Bar loaded up.

I just fold if i have below like 9 high.

And I leave when I get mad at the Dealer.

And I dont leave a tip

Hope that helps, Regina

Well if you see me here, that means I’ve been fleeced out of my last pass and charm.Double Dragon Pai Gow is very efficient at doing that. Our panel of analysts must have found the odds in that game to be so abominable that they would not speak it.

That’s a game I only play if it comes up as a challenge, I’ve read the rules and understand it but I don’t ‘get it’

Actually you’re the one who’s throwing this more off topic by the minute.

Eddi Bets I play this game a lot in real casinos and quite successfully but the game here as is it dealt deviates a lot from the real casinos. There seem to be less deviations in other card games like 3 card and blackjack.

I don’t dare go to a real casino, I’m bad enough at the races with my old Dad’s cavalier attitude to chance

Eddi Bets, looking at your progress here, you will be more than a match for the dealers and floorpersons in a real casino

Thank you SO Much for the Explanation on WHY Not Folding Every Hand is FAR Worse than simply adopting the Q-6-4 rule. Last week I had a Lock-up situation attaining my 1,800,000,000 Milestone. I learned of the ‘Never Fold Strategy’. It compounded the Ongoing Disaster that I was experiencing. It seemed l I couldn’t break through tp the Other side. I used the Q-6-4 rule and regained my Balance. I did Modify the manner that I was betting to conserve losses. I was betting INCREASES to the Ante up to 1M while reducing the actual Bet to 750,000, giving a total of 1,750.000 for the Total. It seemed to work alright, but I did notice the dealer seemed to be getting more STRAIGHTS while I did that. Anyway, I did get my Milestone and my Patience back. Thank you again.

Love is the Law. Love under Will.

What is the Q-6-4 rule?

If your cards are Q-6-4 or lower, fold. If higher, play.

Slight correction - If your cards are Q-6-4 or higher - PLAY

Fold Q-6-3 or lower.

Several of the players here are CR level. a lot of us are not that high, and playing 10m a hand.. well kinda scary. We struggle to get our coins up, because our cities are not yet high enough to deliver the charm base of players who’ve been here a couple of years, or more. My cw friend’s (i’m the lowest in our group) have thousands of charms.. and they never hardy use any party charms… just the charms that are give by there city.. SOO.. friends are telling me not to use all my charms to move forward, but heck as a 1 year person, i can’t do that yet. and i can only buy so much during dbl gem days.

so..currently at 40b and i play 4x 2.5 +500k. What i’m reading is that i’ll need to play 10m per hand, and charms need to be in ‘sets’ to pay there’re highest amount. Am i correct? (additionally.. i know the pair+ is a side bet.. should we be making this bet, or NO?) Also, 1 bet per table, or several.. @ 10m per? (not really sure if this makes a difference.. just asking)

something else.. i see sometimes that when i move to 5 +1m per, the dlr seems to get more straights and flushes. i’m wondering if there’s a correlation between lower and higher betting thru the programming. Or maybe this isn’t ‘programming’.. jsut the cards.
