3 Card Poker

Is it possible to win 4 times your bet in 3 card poker (single player)? If so how? What would you need to bet and what kind of hand would you have to have?

I think I need a straight?

Three of a kind also works

Well, first its tough to get 4 to 1 (or better) on 3 Card. Try to trade it away.

I had used my 3 monthly trade-ins, so I didnt have a choice.

Took me a long time, maybe total of 90 - 120 min. I had lots of Charms, and I did net like 1 B coins, but I found a decent strategy. See below.

So here are the payouts:
Most winning hands are 1 to 1.
Not using Pair Plus — Trips: 4 to 1 Str8 Flush: 6 to 1
Using Pair Plus — Trips: 30 to 1 Str 8: 6 to 1 Str8 Flush: 40 to 1

So it seems that using Pair Plus might be little better odds.

My Strategy evolved over that 2 hours, but what I found worked:
Ante & Pair Plus should be equal. I set Ante at 1 M and Pair Plus at 1 M

Dont use Charms when trying this challenge, unless you have a lot.
Several times I thought I got the challenge completed, but I think I didnt have Ante = Pair Plus.

You have 3 days to complete this Challenge, so if you aint winning in a session, reboot CW and try again. Sometimes 3 card seems to have a winning dealer.

Hope that helps!

Lost 40 points but swapped it out after a FLUSH with Pair Plus failed to trigger a “Win”. WTF??
As I watch the dealer win 7 out of every 10 hands I tried before I got that and dozens of charms drained. For nothing.

Flush is not one of the three that pay out better than 4 to 1 using Pair Plus.

I did get several Flushes using Pair Plus and I was frustrated. But I kept reading the Rules until I understood them. See my Post above.

I found that when I ante 1m and pair plus 1m, if I get a straight, that worked. It took me about 15 mins. Thanks for the input. Everyone here is so helpful. I had already used my swaps for the month, but got lucky I didn’t lose too much

Well Great CathyLee! Happy I could help! Yes I was in the same situation as yourself. I don’t run out of Season Swaps, this month I did.

But really standard wisdom (the Domain of The Wiz) is end of month swapping is a bad thing. Like Mister Kev said - he got back a 40 pt challenge, and this one was 70 pts.

YES! It is pretty easy! I used SinglePlayer/5Hands/100KBet/100K PairPlus. Like @ReggiX said, this give BEST Odds to WIN! I play all hands no matter what! Charms pay Win/Lose on this Game. :money_mouth_face:

I used Nectars and was Happy to get the Coins they provided! Cashing in Charms is the name of the Game here, RIGHT? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It took me about 10 minutes!

This is the “Go To” Game for a LOT of Folks here to get their Crowns for that reason! :star_struck: This Game Changes Charms into Coins Fast! And this Game does it Win or Lose. I just play, play, play, LOL and watch the Coins PILE up and Charms go! And I personally never Bet over 500K per hand here. :upside_down_face:

My 4x wins don’t seem to be working in terms of satisfying the challenge requirements, unless I’m thinking about it wrong. For instance, I bet 1mm coins (ante), win 4mm coins total, which to me is 4x my original bet, but it doesn’t seem to satisfy the requirement. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

If you bet 1 million as ante & then choose to play the hand doesn’t your bet total 2 million? so 4 million is double your bet?

Took me 9 hands (I got lucky), playing 10 million ante, 10 million pair plus, hit two straights and was done

I bet min 100 coins on hand and 5000 coins on pairs plus. Played single x 5 hands since each hand counts as separate attempt. Took about 5 rounds to get a flush or better twice. Flush is 3 to 1 which is 4 for 1 payoff.

My general advice to ALL is that Challenges should just be WON as a higher priority than building one’s coin bank when playing that Challenge. We can build our banks selectively on games that WE choose, using tactics WE select, when WE want to, as opposed to wasting coins and charms on succeeding at Challenges under pressure, meeting conditions that CW chooses and sets. The House (CW) always tries for the Edge to profit more. For example, if a Challenge requires 50 spins on a slot or 2x bet 3 times on BJ, I lower my bet to the minimum, turn OFF auto-load and clear the Charms from the right-side register then spin, spin, spin or click, click, click, That way, if it takes a hundred or more tries to complete the Challenge, big deal - I’ve lost the minimum possible. Then I can play what, when and how I want to build my bank. So complete the Challenges quickly and cheaply, then move on to have fun playing MY way. Just sayin’. Works for me.

The same strategy applies in 3-card. Straight Flushes and 3-of-a-Kinds always pay 4x bet or more, even with no charms, so I use Single Player, bet the MINIMUM and also a MIN Pair Plus (NO CHARMS) and don’t care how many hands I play. Eventually one of those will hit until the Challenge is complete. Remember the challenge is 4x the BET, not the SIZE of the bet or the amount won. Save your coins and Charms for playing YOUR way.

Maybe sometimes that thats OK, but if I’m gonna Play a Mahjong/LilyPond Challenge, I’m on 10M Bet Loaded with Ponies/BlueTonic (For Bear) LOL! If I’m gonna spend my Time on a Challenge Game, I’m Prepared with Charms to use and get Paid well! :money_mouth_face:
