I see that you comment on many subjects on this forum. Most are well-intentioned, but I can’t find anything constructive in your comment to my post. My intention was to help people who waste countless coins and Charms trying to fulfil Challenges by showing them that they can complete some Challenges with minimum loss of their hard-earned growth. Encouraging people to throw huge bets and waste charms isn’t helpful. We should help others by relating things they might not have realized. I’ve heard many Friends complain about how Challenges have cost them huge losses just to get them completed (which is no doubt what CW/Flowplay intend in order to increase their profitability). All of the people I’ve shared this with were grateful and thankful, so I decided to post this constructively.I simply pointed out that we don’t always NEED to lose a lot IF we don’t WANT to risk a lot.Of course, it doesn’t apply to EVERY kind of challenge, but it can for some of them.
@SteveSunset and @Mike_Solo, I see merit in both your recommended ways of doing challenges. Rather than use a single method though, I decide the relative amount of time and coins/charms I’ll give to give each challenge depending on a couple of things.
First, I check if the challenge is for a game I’m very familiar with, and confident I can bet big on and win on. If it isn’t one I play often or I don’t usually do well on, I’ll swap it if I can. If I have to play it, I’ll bet low and try to figure out how to get it over with quickly to minimize loss of time and coins/charms.
Second, I look at the difficulty of the challenge. If I need to get Free Spins on a slot that I know doesn’t give Free Spins very often, I’ll definitely bet low, because it’ll probably take a lot of spins to complete. On a challenge to play 50 spins in any slot machine where I can use my favorite slot, I bet big and use the challenge as an opportunity to increase my coin balance. If I’m doing well, I often continue to play the game after the challenge has been met.
I see value in both suggestions and as mentioned by others, it does depend on the particular challenge and your comfort level for that particular challenge. I do like the tip to wager low and complete the challenge and it would be real useful on a game that you do not really like to play or one that is more challenging to complete as Luck is ALady mentions a slot that does not offer free spins very often. Here is another situation where there are different styles of play possible and each individual needs to play how they are comfortable. That seems to be the basis in wagering here on a fantasy game or in real life at a casino.
I agree with everything @Mike_Solo , @Luck_Is_ALady and @PB234 said, EXCEPT, Why? play any game here without Charms? Makes no sense to me. Unless you have none?
@Mike_Solo The only way people lose money is by betting more than their charms can cover. I play slots, betting the Maximum per spin, with unicorns and nectars, and average $5 million coin PROFIT per spin. But if you don’t have those charms, betting maximum will lose you coins.
I play 3-card poker with maximum ante and maximum pair plus, with Mystic Rubies and Luckiest 7s, and win even when my cards lose.
PB234 gets it. My point has NOTHING to do with the way people CHOOSE to play REGULARLY. it is ONLY about a way people can avoid wasting resources and minimizing losses on CHALLENGES which they are FORCED to complete but would not otherwise choose to play. I do not do this in my REGULAR play. For example, on 3-card I personally play Single Player and bet five hands AND ALSO bet Pair-Plus, both at MAXIMUMS (10 million on each) and always load four Unicorns for every deal. Again, works for me, I was NOT describing regular play at all - People do what works for them and they should.**
On 3-card poker and one other game (Pai Gow?), it seems to work for me when I use the minimum main bet and set Pair Plus to at least 5M. With the top-heavy bet, I did miss on several hands, but I finished my challenge in about a dozen hands.
Yes! Makes me Sad when I see Newcomers concerned with “How to Turn on High Roller” ! I do not consider myself to be in that League even today. If you are going to Bet like a HighRoller, be prepared to LOSE like a High Roller! Don’t wonder why?
Do you need to be a VIP to turn on High Roller? Or Have a certain amount of money? On this acct, I am VIP and use High Roller but on my new acct I’m just a tourist and a new one at that, I can’t find the button.
