Have you been saving up your firework powerups for Halloween Fringo while using all others in lesser islands. There’s still a few days. That is unless they changed up the format this year and we won’t need 60ish fireworks to complete all the goals.
I guess I shot myself in the foot with my powerups. I’ve been using all of them except the fireworks, now for this blitz event I’m dry.
The blitz event isn’t worth it anyway it’s impossible to get especially it’s only a 2 day event. I quit wasting my power-ups on it.
Possibly you could get a full board daubed if the only power up you have (and have a lot of) is the family fruit daub. To do this you would have to exhaust all of your single daub and extra fruit daubs somehow without affecting your family fruit daubs. Not an easy feat given the fact that when you purchase power ups you receive a random selection of them, and when they come up for use in the game they also come up randomly. We have no control over what we are purchasing or what we are given to use during the game. Depleting all but the one you want the most of is not an easy feat.
fruit family is only useful twice. There’s only 2 fruits that have duplicates on the board. Once you’ve daubed those, fruit family would work the same as a single daub. the extra fruits is of limited use since you’ll likely get some fruits you can’t use. Maybe having only single daubs is the solution to beating this event? Last I tried, you can somewhat manipulate the power ups given on a purchase by completing the purchase during a game, not before. It will only give you power ups that are usable on that island. So, to stockpile single daubs, you have to first have none in inventory. Start a game on the first island. The game will tell you that you have no power ups available and you can hit a button to purchase some. It will then only give you single daubs since no other power up applies to that island. Then exit that game and try the event again hoping that you use the single daubs on fruits that weren’t going to appear. Then if you’re really lucky, maybe you can fully daub a board. Way too much effort and really exceptional luck required for an event. I’m still calling it impossible and not wasting my time.
@LA_13… I’m not following – I thought we were referring to the Fringo “Special Event” (Blitz Mode). The board is covered in fruits that require 3 daubs, which when daubed with a family fruit power up is equivalent to 3 daubs. Here is a screen shot of one of the boards in that event. The most I seem to be able to get are 8 fringos. The closest I have come to filling the board is all spaces but 3, and at least one of those 3 spaces was a multi fruit space, so it wasn’t just 3 daubs to finish it… probably more like 4-6 regular daubs left to fill the board.
On this particular board we have (a) 10 triple fruits spaces, (b) 3 Individual apricots, (c) 3 individual blueberries, (d) 2 individual blackberries… that’s 13 times on one board that a family fruit power up would come in very very handy. Every single space has a lightening bolt, so it seems you could at best qualify for 12 power ups on this particular board. Filling this board seems doable if you played it perfectly, and only had family fruit power ups to use. And of course this is assuming that all of the single fruits show up on the conveyor belt.
Edit: Also meant to say – 1 fruit family power up on a triple fruit space clears the whole space at once. 1 single fruit power up daub on a triple fruit space only clears one of the 3 fruits in the space, so it requires 2 more daubs to clear the space.
Yes this is absolutely crazy and impossible. I played 2 rounds and said forget this. I burnt my Family Fruit and Extra Fruit PU’s in those 2 games and did not come close to filling the board or leading. I was done with it
I must never have used a fruit family on a triple daub fruit before. never noticed it could count 3 times there. i’ve learned something new and i stand corrected. thank you. still not doable though.
I agree LA – still not doable I tried it. Went to Topolini Island and bought as many power ups as I could afford. I was almost out of gems (Down to like 120 by the time I thought to try this). I then went to Bungalowah island and played until all of my single fruit power ups were depleted. I had depleted my extra fruit power ups earlier in the Event. So I was then left with only 19 Family Fruit Power Ups. I still could not fill the board. I think I got 2 game plays in before my Family Fruit powers ups were depleted. Not even close to filling the board either time. I spent over 1000 gems today just on Fringo power up purchases for the event. Total waste of gems.
I honestly feel like I should be due a refund of my gems because I made such a concerted effort to accomplish the unattainable goals of filling the whole board… when it is clearly not a reasonable or attainable goal for CW to have added in the first place, (Let alone making 3 different achievements centered around this accomplishment). I feel completely ripped off because I could not have known without actually attempting to complete the goals.
You are all correct. The Blitz Mode Fringo game is IMPOSSIBLE to win. No one will open the big white box to see what prizes are inside. It’s hard enough fully daubing the board once. I’ve came close with only one square left to daub, but I’ve never fully daubed any board even after 75 rounds. Daubing it 6 times is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE. This same thing happened 2 years ago in September 2024 during the pre-Halloween season. The boards could not be fully daubed. The game was eventually fixed after many complaints by adding rocket and bomb power ups. This year’s game should have had them as well. Clearly Flowplay has not learned the lesson from the past.
I’m sure many at Casino World reading these comments about the Fringo Fiasco Blitz Mode game have seen the movie Wayne’s World. In that movie there is a scene where Noah Vanderhoff, played by Brian Doyle-Murray, talks to someone about the new game Zantar in his video game arcade called Noah’s Arcade. He said kids playing video games are like laboratory rats hitting a feeder bar for a pellet. While playing the new Zantar game, kids try desperately to reach the next level. The beauty part is they can’t reach the next level, so the kids keep coughing up quarters. This sounds exactly like what happens at Casino World’s new video arcade game called Fringo Blitz Mode. People want to reach the next goal of fully daubing the Fringo board but it’s not possible, so they keep coughing up gems for more power ups, futilely trying to fully daub the game board to win the game. Noah Vanderhoff would be quite amused. LOL
@Cafedelon - I want to heart, laugh, clap and thumbs up your comment. But alas, I can only give one reaction. Lol
They only added rocket powerups to the original Halloween Fringo, not bombs.
Thank you for the correction. It’s been two years and my memory wasn’t clear on that detail. The rocket power up is what made that game finally work in 2024.
Now I have a question that you might know the answer to, or maybe not. Perhaps someone else may know. Is there a way I can change the thumbnail image of me for use on the Help page? I probably had a skeleton avatar on at the time I made my first comment here before Halloween in 2024. But I don’t want it to show every time I make a new comment. ![]()
Cafedelon - Click on your picture in the upper right hand corner, then locate your profile in the drop down, click preferences, and there you should see the ability to edit your profile picture. You can upload something of your choosing.
TY TY TY TY TY !!! I changed my thumbnail image on the Help pages from that god awful skull face to one of my avatar faces at Casino World. Your advice was much appreciated !
