everytime I try to access my city the screen goes grey and I have to reload page
This sounds like it could be related to the recent browser updates. Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Opera) received two updates in quick succession - one regular update and one emergency security patch - released within hours of each other between December 17 and 18, 2025.
The emergency update was specifically released to address a high-severity vulnerability in the V8 JavaScript engine. Because of these consecutive updates, your browser is likely in a ‘half-updated’ state, which frequently causes rendering issues like the ‘grey screen’ you’re seeing until the update is finalized.
To fix this, please go to your browser settings (Help > About) to ensure you have installed the latest version. A manual update and a full browser restart should get your city loading correctly again
