When we earned the extra percentage overage on gems when we buy then. Example I get 30% more gems when I buy them. Why won’t that extra percentage of gems transfer to whomever we gift gems too? Sending those extra gems on top of what a normal package goes for as a gift would definitely be worth buying more gems for some who can’t afford top.

Hey @APRIL_DIAMOND_62, I actually brought that same request up a few years ago! I wanted the 2x gem deals to apply to gift purchases too. CW’s response at the time was to add the ability to send Building Bucks and Party Passes instead. Before that update, we could only send Charms, Avatar Tokens, and SOR spins. So while we still can’t gift the extra gems directly, you can at least buy during the 2x sales for yourself and then gift Building Bucks and Party Passes to others.
Personally, though, I think the best gift is Building Bucks. I would actually love to request a feature where we could disable receiving other gift types and have them auto-convert to Building Bucks or at least give the receiver the choice to swap any gift for something else they want on a 1:1 cost basis. That would be ideal! @Samantha Please consider this request.
As far as sending gifts..I’d like to be able to send gifts like City Decor. Just a thought.

I was saying gems because some never have enough gems to be in parties, and some are my friends, so they are missing out, they enjoy going to the parties for the fun too. I have a few friends that never have enough passes to go to GNG parties but won’t go if they can’t toss at cheaper parties either. They just sit at the sidelines. Again, I would love to send gems so they can spend as they choose

Again, as I started the conversation was, I would like to gift Gems to those who can’t afford them, but to add my 30% extra to the gift for them, why not if I’m buying them, I should be able to gift what I would get. A far as other gifts BB tokens and passes that’s different than getting a gift of gems, Gems they could use as they please also, but attend parties and not feel they can’t go Happy Gaming ev1
I think if I were in a position to gift gems then I’d want my earned additional % to apply to gifts too
Some people live in states where they can’t buy gems. It would be nice to gift them double-gem day and it really be double gems. Maybe gifting double-gems could be a promotion for CW?
