When the coin numbers appear over the buildings it doesn’t allow the owner/builder to be able to appreciate the city and perhaps analyze what he/she may want to change about it’s configuration/design. The only time that one can is immediately after cashing in said coins/rewards, and even then that visual doesn’t last for all that long (coins start to appear almost immediately after commencing upon evolving and building). Further, and perhaps most importantly, why not allow for re-designs/movements of the buildings on the map without being forced to cash in coins/rewards each time? A simple counter could show how many buildings (of the whole lot, perhaps as a %) have available coins if that’s information a player is wanting to know, and then an associated button to cash in coins/rewards, instead of floating coins above each building. Or is the sole purpose of the floating coins to know what exact buildings have coins available or not? After so many hours in a given day, all of the buildings will max out their coin generation anyhow, and having a counter that shows “85%, 65%, 100%” would suffice I think.
Maybe I’m thinking about this incorrectly, but what I am trying to solve for is being able to move buildings around without having to generate coins/rewards if I don’t want/need to, at that moment in time.
I think that you’ve hit on an annoyance that many share but have never voiced. And I think many folks would view the change you propose as a positive! I know that I would.
One suggestion I would have to to put new buildings into storage immediately at purchase. Then the buildings on display in your city will tend to be at least a little older and not generate coins right away allowing you some time to move buildings. Of course there could be a newer building in storage you want to utilize that has coins, but you could then hold a place for that and once you collect coins move that building into place. As I state, it is just a thought of a work around.
I actually wish there was a way to collect just one building coins instead of all at one time. It goes so fast you cannot really tell how many coins you get from each building. Kind of like the GB. You can collect them one at a time and then click the storage GB to collect all the remaining ones. I like to see what a new building reward is for instance and again, once it starts it typically goes so fast you don’t know which building produced the charm. But this is now off topic. Sorry
Thinking it thru some more, why not add a button that just lets one re-arrange the city (basically a start/stop) leaving it up to the user when to resume the coin count/green box generation. Of course, I could see the potential fail in that if the player forgets to turn the counter back on. Having said that, one could also purchase a building on accident, so there’s that (no protection from that occurring). At the end of the day it’s on the player, not CW. Thanks for your comments Jim and PB!
Me too, I wish there was a ‘collect coins’ button to activate collection. I accidentally collect coins earlier today because I collected a treasure box, whist I was out shopping via my mobile phone and because it’s so small I had a sausage finger moment!
I agree with @Eddi_Bets The Collect Coins Button would be Great! I have had Coin Collect accidents that ruined my Green Box collect and collect schedule. I do not think any of the rest will ever change.
If you want to do “Research”, put your Buildings in Storage. Put the Buildings you want to Research on your Map. Use the Snipping Tool to Record your Coin/GreenPrize Collect. You can Playback/Pause to get your Results!
This was for my Research Project on the (6) Building “Builders” and the L4 Payouts!
Well, in my case, my buildings will not give me the GoldCards/Wine I LOVE so much. They do not have enough time for my GreenPrize to MaxOut at 6 hrs. Also what a PIA and No Advantage doing that! You are going to get the SAME VALUE of Coins/GreenPrizes collecting 4X6Hrs or 1X24Hrs! The ONLY Advantage a Player has here is the HMP on their ability to BUY New Buildings and Evolve them.
