Cost of the new venues doesn't add up to me

What am I missing here? A tier 13 building costs 75M building coin which translate to 3000 gems, yet the tier 13 venue costs double that to purchase? Same with the other venues. Am i just daft? What am I missing here, can someone explain it so it makes sense to my simple little brain lol

We’re so glad you like the new venues!

The new venues are for hosting Charm Parties, but like the other venues, players do have the ability to hang out in them as well.

They do contribute to your City rewards. Party Venues do not have a tier, so they would pay out similarly to the other venues.

Not daft at all.. as many wondered the same thing. Also, of note we can only purchase the venues with gems, not building bucks.

The new party venues are not going to add as much value to your city as paying the comparable amount of gems for a regular building.

I would purchase one of the new party venues for fun if they had better offerings of charms. Unfortunately they just copied the same charms as Rustic Farmhouse. I’m not interested in these new party venues until they offer more variety.

Thank you for your replies, good to know i am not the only one confused by it. I did laugh at the part where they say they are not tiered because on the page to buy them, they are, indeed, tiered. "Alpine Springs, Tier 13/Large lol Yeah, not tiered at all, too funny.

I have an off the wall idea. How about some new tier 15 and tier 16 buildings? Call me crazy.

You are crazy :face_savoring_food: Seriously though, that is a great idea. Even some new buildings in the Tier 6 and above range would be nice as well.

Ok you’re crazy but not really. LOL. YES. New tier buildings please. Iv’e officially joined the crazies.

and new venues with tier levels have appeared and they are expensive

Yes, and the cost doesn’t make sense to me Eddi. You can buy a tier 13 building for 3000 gems, such as the Ocean Dome, but they are charging twice that here, makes no sense.

So, the tier 13 venues cost twice as much as a tier 13 building. I’m all for new party places but will have to visit them before I commit. I attended one party in Alpine Springs, and it was an uncomfortable experience. You could only see the top half of avatars and were limited on where in the venue you could move them. Seems like it was designed for gatherings more intimate than a typical party.

I agree, I would really like to be able to see what I am buying first. I don’t want another beam going thru my head after all.

No kidding Kelly, but you know you love that beam and it loves you  :face_savoring_food:

It makes perfect (commercial) sense to CW, just like yet another party pet, in getting you all to part with your gems

I would need to see what they looked like inside before considering purchase.

Maybe CW can offer an “Open House” one day!

So we pay a premium for the new party venues yet when we have a party, All the charms we can toss are the same as the Farmhouse. So now we have 6 party venues that all have the same charms. How about mixing it up a little?

What I don’t like most about the new Venues is that you cannot click on them and then look to see what the inside of the Venue looks like. It should be similar to when we check out different Outfits or Extras, but instead, we have to try to find a party in a Venue we’re interested in, just to see what the inside looks like. Bummer!

Funny thing is, all of the new venues are copied from 7 seas and given a new name over here, and then we are charged double what they should be, kind of sad if you ask me.

If you find my Pictures you can see most of the inside of NEON PALMS
