Cut and Pasting

I don’t think this got posted so I’m reposting.

When using Casino World I concurrently run a notepad app. I do this so I can cut and paste frequently used comments while I’m at parties and in the lobby area. However, this ability does not seem to function when I want to post comments or send messages on a member’s profile page. Having the ability to do so would simplify my life and reduced my dependance on my psychiatrist.

Generally I have found the old school Ctrl-C for copy and Ctrl-V paste work in CW. Nort sure re comments or messages but can’t see why it wouldn’t be the same.

That has been a requested feature for many years… A copy-paste function for our profile walls and private messages would be a huge help! For over 3 years, I’ve been retyping the same tips on my wall every week, which takes a lot of time. It’s also frustrating to lose a long comment you’re writing, either because a party starts, connection error or because the message errors out from an accidental ‘banned’ word and you have to retype everything. The new 512-character limit makes this even more tricky to split a large post in reverse order to display correctly on my wall. A copy-paste feature would make things so much easier!

Also, in regards to a personal message, when replying, you cannot see what was originally written, but it would be helpful to. Would also be helpful to have the ability to see one’s replies to messages after a reply has been sent. Maybe we’re all saying the same thing.

It’s so annoying to not be able to cut/paste. I tell people to DM me here in the help forum, but most players don’t have an account here.

Thank you for your response. Yes, there’s no problem with Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V at parties and in the lobby area. These functions just don’t work when posting comments or sending messages on a member’s profile page.

How about a Saved Folder….?

Thank you for your response. I don’t see that any provisions have been made for including folders in the comments and message sections of a member’s profile page either.
