Why are there 5 sets of fruits that require 3 daubs each in the new Fringo Halloween, when regular Fringo for 1M coins only has 4 sets? And if you steal someone’s points, do they get stolen from a particular player or is it totally random?
Personally, I don’t like stealing points, but I have to use them to get to the next power-up.
And one other question, why are some power-ups only good for the higher costing islands?
Those are some good questions about the Halloween Fringo. I’ve been thinking about them as well, and here are a few of my own theories:
For your first question, I think the 5 sets of fruits are probably just to make the Halloween special a little more difficult than the regular Fringo.
Regarding the “Steal” power-up, I’m pretty sure it takes the points from the player who is ranked one position above you. And I agree, it feels like you’re forced to use it just to clear the power-up slot and move on.
As for the power-ups on different islands, I believe that’s done for game balance. For example, it would make the lower-costing islands too easy to finish if we had access to powerful items like the bomb and fireworks.
