There have been several hackers in the Omaha poker room. Guest577 has been flaunting this months VIP only pets, including the one we just got for the pet of the month. It was my understanding that these pets are for VIP’s only and that line of challenge rewards is for VIP’s only. So, could you please explain how this GUEST577 had VIP pets?

May be a VIP Player changed thier name? I can’t find a GUEST577 on Profile? Maybe a VIP Joker? 
Guests names won’t be found if you type them in. A special number goes after the guest…usually a 6 to 8 digit number. Found this out trying to gift party tickets to one. Used the guest account to send a gift to my main, and the name was guest38954058 or something like that. if you create a guest account by backing out of the sign in, you can create a quick one to test this. Create the avatar, don’t alter the name. Send a mail to your main, friend request whatever. When you log into you main, you will see the correct name of the guest account in your mailbox.
Since you don’t have to change the name its possible the guest clicked the free vip for a month and grabbed it that way, then cancelled the vip. That said, it’s not to say its not a hack job…only the devs will have access to determine the truth.

I can click on their name in the poker room and it comes up with their profile page just like any other player. This particular player and at least one other, clearly showed their status as guests. If they pay the VIP and then cancel, their money is not returned to them, and their status would remain VIP on their profile all month long. The first time I ran into this player was Dec 3rd. Profile listed his status as guest. Most of us just got the VIP snowman pet this week when we finally worked through enough challenges to get there. This is the reason I think he’s a hacker. He has access to the VIP rewards line without being a VIP. The other hacker is Guest639. They first appeared in November with a VIP only Turkey pet. I checked their profile and it clearly said they were a guest. So I questioned him about it and he stated “I am VIP” I said no you are not. It would say you are a VIP on your profile. The rest of us had just gotten our turkeys that same day or a day before. So, if he/she truly was a VIP it would state that on the profile.

Also, it’s not a 6-8 digit number. I have never seen a guest with more than a 3 digit number in the poker room.

Following @SteveSunset picture trail I tried looking for the ‘Guests’ that @1Unicorn2 saw in the poker room by adding 7805 in to their name before the 3 digit number so Guest7805577 & Guest7805639 and players did come up - neither had a pet nor any buildings in their city which seems a little odd for someone taking advantage of a free month on VIP. Were these the players?
If so perhaps it’s best to ask Samantha to refer this back to the technical teams to investigate

They had VIP pets with them in the poker room. If you are in a room with them you can click on their name in the room list and it comes up with their profile without adding the extra numbers before it.
