How do I change my Help Forum profile picture?

I REALLY need to get my profile picture changed on here. How can I do that?

That is a question I am curious in knowing the answer to also. The picture shown here on Help is of the Avatar assigned when I started playing the game, but I have many custom avatars and I would prefer using one of those.

The only help here about the Avatar seems to be how to change your CW game avatar. Maybe we need to move up the trust level scale?

We’ve updated the settings to allow everyone to change their profile pictures.

Now I just need instructions on how to change my profile picture to one of my actual avatars. I can upload pictures of screen shots in parties and even things unrelated to CW, but I don’t know how to change to a bust shot of an actual avatar.

  • click on your icon next to the search icon.
  • look at the icons under your pictures to the right of the screen(bell, replies, likes, etc…the last icon is a profile icon(looks like a bust))
  • Click on the profile icon
  • Click on the cog(Preferences)
  • Scroll down and look for your profile picture.
  • You can change it there.

@CruisinPast. If you have Windows, use the Snipping Tool to take a headshot of the avatar you want to appear on Help. I don’t know anything about Macs, but I imagine they must have a similar utility. Save the snip to a file. Then go to your Help Profile/Preferences and click on the Edit picture symbol, upload the file with your avatar headshot, and you’re all set.

After clicking a here and a there and a there and a here and a here and a there and there and a here, I am officially a computer illiterate.

go to your pic on the forum (top right) click on it, a box will come up, (pic will be attached) then from there, go to bottom of that, look for the “person shape” at bottom, right side, click on that. that should get you to the next box, preferences, and then click on that, goes to your profile pick , and click on it, you can keep the assigned one, pick the one you use for the game (i just blocked out my email addy) , and a real pic (or something you downloaded from your computer) hope this helps !!!

When I click on Gravatar, it comes back saying sorry it can’t find an avatar associated with that email address. That’s the only email address I have associated with the game, so not sure why it can’t find an avatar associated with it.

Look for an article called ‘Changing your avatar in the Forum’ by Samantha. She explains how it can be done. It was posted Aug 24. Type Samantha in the Search function and scroll down to the bottom on the topics associated with her for a quick find.
I had the same experience with that Gravatar not finding any of my avatars, but the Snipit tool she mentions worked.

To have a Gravatar you need a Gravatar.com account using the same email address as you use here (which I don’t and wasn’t interested in making one) so I did a screen grab of one of my in Casino avatars and followed the instructions Like @PB234 said. You could use any picture you want that way
