Let the Robot Hunt Begin!
Hello everyone,
I know there is already a discussion starting up about the new robots, but I wanted to get this guide going to help us track the patterns early. A huge thank you to KaTeaLuck, Cafedelon, and SunYah for bringing this up and sharing their initial findings!
Just like the Dragonets and Yetis before them, these new Robo Pets seem to be tied directly to the party bust tiers. Based on the latest reports, it looks like the Red Robot starts appearing as early as Tier 3.

Initial Observations:
- Red Robots: These appear to be dropping from Tier 3. This is great news for anyone looking to hunt on a budget!
- Purple Robots: These line up with Tier 4. If you see a Purple Pet Carrier at the end of a Limo or 1x Uni party, you’re in the right spot!
- The “Bust” Factor: Remember, the total cost to bust the party is what matters most for the prize pool.
I will be starting a hunt starting in about 30 mins from Tier 7 down. Let’s keep sharing our pulls so we can fill out the higher tiers!

Talk about luck - we found the first robot (Socializer 9000 Black) on the 1st try!
A huge thank you to everyone for jumping in and participating.
This white OmniPal took us about 10 tries to get - it was pretty tough!
The BroBot (Green Camo) took 7 tries.
The FriendBot (Lavender/Purple) took 5 tries.
The Robo-Buddy also showed up on the 1st try!
What was the party? 3x Nectar of Time with a 5x Rainbow Mushrooms party buster works correct? The black robot is the only one I still need.
Hi @MarkyMark, yes, that’s exactly it! It was a 3x Nectar of Time with a 5x Rainbow Mushroom party buster. That combination seems to be the sweet spot for the Tier 7 drops. Good luck getting the Socializer 9000 (Black) robot.
Gone bust on the two highest cost ones a few times. So I have only three of them after shelling out 23K Gems. Kinda stopped being fun at this point.

I’m not sure what the exact drop rates are, but you should generally be able to get one within 10 tries. Since it does get expensive after a while, it might be better to just target the specific ones you really want rather than trying for the whole set!

Update. Ran my own x3/x3 Nectar BLITZ 3300/3300. Thanks to determined and generous gifters the final 1/4th was filled and success! Black Robot!

Just wanted to confirm that I got the purple Friendbot on a 1X Oyster blitz party w/ 1X Oyster charm buster, not only on CW but also on 7 Seas. It was about 4 tries before I got it on CW, but my first try on 7 Seas. Then tonight I myself threw a 1X Unicorn blitz party w/ 1X Unicorn charm buster to complete a daily challenge, and also try for a robo buddy… we got the green BroBot on the very first try!!

Another confirmed party I was just in, 1X Bats blitz party w/ 1X Bats charm buster… some people got the green BroBot in that one.

Ok, so do I have to spend gems for the chance to get a robo-buddy? My party passes get spent before I use any gems, even though I attend 31+ gem parties. How does this work? Is it the same for the Yeti, Bunnyfly and other Buddies?

As I understand it using passes to enter the party wouldn’t stop you getting a robo-buddy, if one is awarded.
The 31+ gem level party is the minimum value party that one can be won at but it isn’t guaranteed that the final meter prize will be a robo-buddy even if you bust the meter.
And yes, that’s the whole point of these pet prize promotions, to create a demand, make people spend gems in pursuit of them and then they buy more gems and CW earns more money

OK just reporting another successful party with the black Socializer 900 robo buddy! LayLo2Day threw a Nectar 3X blitz party w/ 2X Time Cube charm buster… it did take some serious generosity though with some heavy tossing to make it bust (with the charm buster not completing the meter at the start). Last prize before it busted was 2K in gems which helped offset the gems cost to get into the blitz party, then when it busted we got the bot! I was pretty happy, my first attempt going to a party for the black bot!

Another confirmed success for the green BroBot, was in a 1X UFO blitz party w/ 1X UFO charm buster. Some people got the bot, but others got the Vampire Brooch.

And another successful party that yielded the red Robo-Buddy! Went to a “all new” Tideaway venue party for 3X Margarita and it was just a regular party buster, no blitz or GNG, and we all tossed enough to bust it. Nominal prizes t/o the meter, but pretty happy we actually got the bot at the end!
