Is there a new Yeti creature you can win in parties, similar to the Dragons?? I can’t find any info on them yet.
Yes friend! There is a new Yeti in the party buster bar. I got a brown one in a moon block blitz party. I’ve seen a rainbow one, green and heard there is a blue but I’m not sure. Here we go again! lol
Rainbow yeti at a unicorn party 950 pp & 950 gems
Having seen how people went after the dragonets I doubt CW will pass up the opportunity to sell more gems while people do the same for these yetis.
I’ll steer clear of parties aimed at collecting them because I don’t see the point of them.
I mainly go to GnG parties for unicorn charms and rarely stick around to see if the meter fills because I don’t have the gems to make it happen and don’t want to be seen as a charm leech or I go to challenge parties to fill the room so the player gets their challenge points
Based on the in-game notice saying Yetis appear in ‘31+ Gem Parties’, we can assume the hunt starts at Party Bust Tier 3.
Since there are 5 Yeti pets to collect, this perfectly aligns with the 5 Party Bust Tiers that fit the criteria (Tiers 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7). Therefore, it is highly likely that one Yeti type will drop per tier in this range. I’ve updated the chart below to remove the old Dragonet references, but the cost math remains the same.
Edit:
Hello everyone! I am happy to report that the Yeti Hunt is officially complete! We successfully captured all 5 Yetis. It was definitely a grind (and quite expensive), but the theory held up: 5 Tiers = 5 Yetis.
Here is a breakdown of how it went for us:
- Tier 3 (Brown ‘Sleigh Yeti’): This was surprisingly stubborn. It took us 8 tries (parties/overflows) to get it.
- Tier 4 (Green ‘Moss Yeti’): This one was quicker, dropping after 3 parties.
- Tier 5 (Rainbow Yeti’): We got very lucky here; I caught this on the 1st try in an overflow room.
- Tier 6 (Burgundy ‘Krampus Yeti’): This was a tough battle. It took 6 parties (5 overflows) to finally see him.
- Tier 7 (White ‘Snow Yeti’): The big one. This took a total of 8 parties to drop. It was costly, but persistence pays off!
Strategy: The key is persistence. For every party, we kept opening overflow rooms until the Yeti dropped. If you are hunting, don’t give up!
Updated Guide & Cost Table: Below is the final confirmed list of which Yeti appears in which Bust Tier, along with the estimated costs.
Party Bust Tier & Cost Guide (Completed Yeti Edition)
| Tier | Yeti Name / Color | Party Cost (Gems/Pass) | Total Bust Cost (Gems) | Cost per Person (at 25) | Example Party / Charm | Calculation Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | N/A | 1 - 10 | 1,000 | 40 | 2 x Beer | (known from experience) |
| 2 | N/A | 11 - 30 | 2,500 | 100 | 3 x Beer | (known from experience) |
| 3 | Sleigh Yeti (Brown) | 31 - 99 | 4,000 | 160 | 5 x Frozen Dinner / 1 x Champagne | (80x2x25 = 4,000) & (50x3x25 = 3,750) |
| 4 | Moss Yeti (Green) | 100 - 300 | 7,500 | 300 | 1x Oyster Party / 3 x Black Recluse | (95x3x25 = 7,125) & (300x25 = 7,500) |
| 5 | Rainbow Yeti | 301 - 1,000 | 25,000 | 1,000 | 1x Uni Party / 1 x Stretch Limo | (900x25 = 22,500) & (1,000x25 = 25,000) |
| 6 | Krampus Yeti (Burgundy) | 1,001 - 3,000 | 60,000 | 2,400 | 2x Uni Party / 3 x Choc. Truffle | (750x3x25 = 56,250) & (1,200x2x25 = 60,000) |
| 7 | Snow Yeti (White) | 3,001 - 14,000 | 105,000 | 4,200 | 5x Uni Party / 5 x Nectars | (400x10x25 = 100,000) & (850x5x25 = 106,250) |
Notes:
- Tier 3 Update: Validated during the hunt - total bust cost is ~4,000 gems (approx. 160 gems/person).
- Strategy: The 5 Yeti pets correspond directly to Bust Tiers 3 through 7.
Do we know the colors though? I got brown at 40 Red planet so that’s the 3. Krampus was a 5700 Gem blitz so 7. Didn’t think to track the other two. Just need white
@Elanor We are having a full Yeti hunt right now, come join us!
@Mister_Kev Thanks for that info! That is really helpful to confirm Brown is Tier 3 and Krampus is Tier 7. I will update the table with all the specific colors and names once I get the details for the rest of them!
Just a quick update on the first drop: We just did a run on Bust Tier 3 and it took 8 tries (parties/overflows) to finally get the Brown ‘Sleigh Yeti’. So be prepared for a bit of a grind!
The next hunt (Bust Tier 4) will start at 8:15 AM PST. (I originally planned for 7:45, but I have to get my kid ready for school first lol).
See you all there!
OK Just came from an 11,000 Nectar blitz for the WHITE one. That may be the “Alpha” LOL
Maybe why he’s front and center in the announcement. Use any of this info you want Night Guy
Just a friendly reminder to everyone joining the hunt: Please play responsibly! It is easy to get caught up in the chase, but please don’t spend gems you can’t afford just for digital pets.
Also, an interesting observation from early reports: It seems the drop chance might be higher at higher Party Bust Tiers. While the Tier 3 Yeti took us 8 tries to catch, we are hearing reports that the higher-tier Yetis (like the White one Mister_Kev mentioned) might be dropping much faster. It looks like the game might reward the higher risk/cost with a better drop rate.
We will keep testing this theory as we move up the tiers!
I must have missed the part about being forced to get a dragon.
I just love your Puffin beanie Elanor! This picture is adorable!
@Elanor what a fun pic of you and the yetis having snowball fight
. Tysm for sharing it with us!
I have spent a fortune irl on gems to secure a white yeti last one i nedd but nada follwed all kind s of tips n nada n\Now I say screw u CW no more gems from me…
so if I’m entering a 10X party blitz that costs 60 gems to enter and I use 30 party passes and 30 gems does that qualify as an eligible yeti party because I’ve been to 12 -15 parties that got busted and still no yeti ..its all I want before Xmas
Hello @axieaboutme, unfortunately no. To find a Yeti, you need to attend a party with an entry cost of at least 31 Gems. The Cost to Bust is separate and does not count toward the party tier that determines the Yeti drop.
thank you so much for clarifying that up .you’ve been recommended by another member about you’re knowledge of the game so ive been following your posts and I tried to add you to my friends list lol I don’t think CW has that so I bookmarked it instead I actually located a post about a member that obtained all yetis and what gem and ch arm acct …but everyone in them parties are cheap and no one tosses…..any party suggestions?
BLITZ parties are your best bet. That way everyone tosses at least one and many will fill up the meter almost to the end. Relying on the generosity of sometimes only a few is risky.
t really onjy attend one persons blitz party and they always bust because ever\hone helps
