Party Bust Tiers Explained & Dragonet Guide

Hello everyone,

After staring at the party blitz menu until my eyes crossed, using a process of elimination (“divide and conquer”), and analyzing Samantha’s 100-3001 gems hint regarding the dragonets… I’ve put this guide together.

(Full disclosure: this also involved some ‘edumacated’ guesses and a fair amount of unicorn dust ).

Here is the official-unofficial guide to party bust costs and their new Dragonet prizes!

How it Works:

  • Each party requires 25 people to fill.
  • The total bust cost is the gem cost per person multiplied by 25.
  • The gems required to bust a party are grouped into 7 specific tiers.
  • Note: The “Cost per Person” column assumes a full party of 25. If a party starts with fewer people (e.g., 20), the total bust cost remains the same, but the individual contribution needed from each member will be higher.

This means that a party with a 3,001 gem/pass cost takes the same total amount to bust as a party costing 14,000 gems/passes. E.g., a 5x Unicorn and a 10x Unicorn take the same to bust. Knowing these tiers can help you save gems!

Dragonet Prize Tiers
The Dragonet prizes (which are part of a promotion with no known end date) line up perfectly with these bust tiers. The “Party Cost” column shows the minimum gem/pass entry fee needed for a chance at that tier’s dragonet.

Here’s the breakdown of where they were first seen:

  • Emerald Dragonet (Green): First seen from a 1x Oyster Party (costing 300 Gems), which fits Bust Tier 4.
  • Charoite Dragonet (Purple): First seen from a 1x Uni Party (costing 950 Gems), which fits Bust Tier 5.
  • Sapphire Dragonet (Blue): First seen from a 2x Uni Party (costing 1,900 Gems), which fits Bust Tier 6.
  • Jet Dragonet (Black): First seen from a 10x Uni Party (costing 9,500 Gems), which fits Bust Tier 7.

A Quick Note on the Numbers:
To be clear, the Total Bust Cost figures from bust tier 3 and up are educated guesses, though I believe they are very accurate. I am 100% certain that the Party Cost (Gems/Pass) tiers are correct, which is the most important part for knowing which dragonet you’re trying for.

@Night_Guy can you please add an amendment to show what the minimum requirements are for each dragon, starting with the green dragonet and working up to the black dragonet

seen quite a few errors on the party board of people addying black dragon parties for a entry fee of only 2200 gems

Hi @Peaches,

That’s a great point! I’ve gone ahead and edited my original post to include the minimum gem/pass costs for each dragonet tier.

Hopefully, this makes it clearer for everyone and helps prevent those errors you were seeing on the party board. Thanks for the suggestion!

I know I’m odd but I am so happy that I don’t want a dragonet it seems like it takes a lot of time, passes and gems to get one

I might be part of your “odd” club. I didn’t go looking for one, but stumbled onto a green one early on. While I thought it was pretty cool, and enjoy seeing the variations others have picked up, I haven’t been actively seeking any more. My focus is pretty much on progressing through the milestones, while being delighted with any little surprises that come my way on the journey.

It’s a pretty exclusive club so far just you and me

The 2X party meter event will cut the needed gems in half. I tried for black dragon at at 10/3 Unicorn party during the last 2X event since it “only” required 2850 gems. The final prize was not a dragon.

Can I also join your “odd”club  ? Was not looking for a dragonet but caught a green and blue one in the wild :upside_down_face::tulip: Must admit it’s nice to have some company when going to parties :tulip:

Of course you can - welkom

I wanted a blue dragon in the worst way, now If i get one, I get one. If i don’t, I don’t. I’ve been to many parties where the blue crate holding the blue dragon was there, but the parties haven’t busted. Now I just figure, If I ever get one, I’ll just consider myself lucky. Until then I will just enjoy the parites and the charms they provide at entry.
