So there is a new Icon next to Crews on the homepage called Luxe.
I clicked on it and it involves items to purchase. Like Pets.
But it would sure be nice CW if you could make an announcement of some kind prior to adding something like this. Including what is the purpose, does the purchase offer anything in return or is it just cosmetic as a couple examples.

No Tiger for Kev, that is an outrage, storm the castle!!! Maybe they are making an extra special tiger just for you and one day you will have your very own special tiger, we can hope

Not trying to minimize how much some people are appreciating the pet store but can we possibly get a way to avoid buying a luxe pet if we already have in the same pet in our normal pet inventory? Maybe have it marked as “in your collection” like the new party venues and city themes are once we own them? As it is now, purchasing a new pet would require me to decide on my new friend and then leave that page without purchasing it, go to my avatar page, click on pets, scroll through my 90 other pets to see if I already have it and, if not, then go back to the luxe tab, click on the pets tab, and then decide if i really want it. All that’s presuming I didn’t get distracted in there somewhere by a party or a treasure box or something else which then requires me to go back to step one. In that amount of time, I’ve probably changed my mind because it was too much work and it took away the impulse part of the purchase. It would be much simpler to look and see “Ohhh, I don’t have the black tabby”, click, 2000 gems spent.
I do like the pet buying option. I’m now waiting to see if Bigfoot,Loch Ness or even Godzilla show up. Lots of interesting creatures you could add which we then could add to our menagerie.
I’m not gonna waste my Gems on a Pet or a Theme. I’d rather use my Gems to build up my City. And I’m not gonna spend them on a Potion UNLESS it advances my game play. My goal is to be a Lifer here. Not simply to be noticed. Hope that doesn’t sound rude…I’m a nice girl. Honest.
