We all have pets, some more than others. Taking too much room in the pet room? Not taking them out of their kennels often enough? Well, why not have a CW Pet Adoption Agency?
Instead of putting a delete button to delete a pet to the abyss (Delete unwanted Pets anytime soon?), let’s have a transfer button to the Adoption Agency. Unwanted pets can find a home albeit not a forever home but a home.
Adopting a pet (what is available at the time in the agency) would cost a certain amount of gems and voilà you get the pet you always wanted, admired from afar, the month you missed before becoming a VIP, etc.
First come, first serve waiting list. Once your turn comes up, you get to pick one pet for a price in gems that is set by the agency (CW) and if you want more than one you have to return to place your name in the waiting list for the process to begin again.
Tourists who do have a pet (may have used a trial month VIP membership) will be allowed only to have one pet at all times. If they want to adopt a pet they will have to give up their existing pet and the same process of signing up for the waiting list and paying the price in gems.
This will help our pet collectors in the game or those who are minimalists and want pet-free clutter.
For whatever its worth, I thought it was a cute idea while watching the birds on my balcony this morning.

OMG!! I absolutely love this idea! Not everyone wants a pet. I’m not one of those ppl, I’m more of the more the merrier type. I would defnitlely add my name to adopt a pet I wanted and didn’t have!

just to throw something out there, someone on 7 Seas suggested having a petting zoo, a place where we could store all our pets
would be kinda cool if we could buy a petting zoo for our city
then when you click on it, you could bring your pets there
- sheeps, horses grazing
- bunnies hopping around
- birds in trees or flying
- lizards on rocks
you could then have zoo themes
- safari themes
- desert themes
- jungle themes
- forest themes
- grassland themes
just a thought, might do a poll on it later, we’ll see

Hi Relic Hunter! Great idea but why the limitation for tourists to have only one pet? I would make a great foster pet parent ( if I say so 
) and if I am willing to part with my very hard earned gems to give more pets a good home I don’t see a problem.

Hi @Roffa_010! Thank you for the question. I was seeing the solution through the lens CW would have to look through.
The main goal is to entice, retain and continue the economy of CW.
That would specifically be through VIP membership sign-up and gem buying.
As a tourist, CW will always want you to become a VIP member. They use perks as the main attraction. Not only is it a perk to have multiple pets but gems/building bucks/avatar tokens/sea of riches coins are more on the VIP sidewalk, etc.
If tourist perks were comparable to those who have or had VIP membership then there is no incentive for you as a tourist to want to become a VIP.
As a business perspective, it makes sense to have distinct differences between a Tourist and a VIP member.
An analogy would be having nose-bleed seats at a hockey game or being in a sky box at the same game. You both are able to watch the game but one will have more luxuries watching it than the other.

I’m sure you would be a great foster parent for many pets or even if its just one.
If CW want to make it unlimited pet adopting for everyone it would be an absolutely fabulous idea (maybe even better)!
