I had to cancel my VIP because in the account info, there was no option to update my card info. The only button available to press was cancel membership - not a great marketing strategy.
This happens if you’re swapping PayPal and the credit card payment method. It’s two different processing systems, so you do have to sign up for a new VIP membership if you want to swap.
