I wish they would make the VIP lounge a party room for VIP’s. We have to wait until the party starts to join the room. I have lost out on my own parties because I can not get into the room as it is not available on my city.
I try to keep all my party venues displayed on the main My City board. The venues will be visible once you click on the Party Venues icon on the upper right corner of My City. Click on the venue that indicates the party, and you will have the option to enter. I always try to do that about 10 minutes before my scheduled party begins. You can enter other players’ cities early by doing the same on their city boards.

I have placed all of my party venues together, my issue was when you are a VIP you can have a party in that venue but it is not available to be on your city. Others have to wait until the party is live to join since you can’t go to my city and click on party venues since they don’t offer VIP lounge party room on your city if you are a VIP. Sorry, I didn’t explain correctly in my post. Thanks for the help.
From what I understand, regardless if others are VIP or not, once you host a party with a party venue available in your city, and displayed in your city, then anyone can join it simply by going to your city (You do not have to be a VIP to visit anyones city as long as it is not set to “Private”, in which case no one can.
Once you view their city, click on the “Party Venue” Button and it will display the party venue that the party is happening in. Click on there and “join”

What’s she’s saying is that the VIP Lounge can be selected as a party room to host parties in. But it’s not an actual building that you can place on your map, so there’s no way to enter any party hosted in the VIP lounge early. VIP or not. Would be nice to be able to enter this venue early.
