Today, CW finally released 20 extra Crown levels, bringing the total to 170!
It looks like the drop rates have improved significantly. The Gem chance used to be about 10%-20%, but now it seems closer to 50%. Here is what I received for levels 151-170:
Wow NG very nice. Quite the haul.I moved up 6 spots. I got 24K gems, 14K gems, Eco Building, Jubilee Tower, Jade Army Charm and Golden Shroud. For me it was worth the wait.

@GoldNugget, congrats on your haul too! That >50% mix of buildings and Gems really is the perfect reward balance. DG actually waits until she has 10 Crowns saved up before she even thinks about opening them. I’m honestly not sure if I’d have the willpower to wait that long myself!
100% NG my city is starting to produce quite nicely now, takes some time but that’s kinda the point imo lol, and i dont waste coins like the old days, which tbh makes a HUGE difference.
I’ve been collating my rewards on my profile since crowns started and with a large sample size it does seem there is a 33% chance for all. Over a small sample size there is huge variation, I think I’ve got as many as 5 crown charms in a row (that really tested my patience in not quitting the site ) but it always seems to bounce back and even out over time.
Doing the happy dance for you that you finally got some of the charms, buildings and gems you have earned.
I appreciate you posting this as I know it is not feasible to post all the awards from the beginning on a profile page.
It also gives me a more accurate vision of what to expect as I move up the levels. Just got crown 21 and I received a charm. So I can hope for a building or gems for the next one.
I am very close to reaching my first Crown Level. Had no idea what the prize would be but thought it would be great. I am going to be disappointed if its just a charm! (As much as everyone loves charms…I feel like whenever I use them, I lose.)
@Jswan , just to let you know, the charms that are received as a Crown Level prize are pretty powerful–more so than the charms you receive from TBs. And keep in mind, whatever the prize, it’s almost always better than getting poked in the eye with a sharp stick LOL. Good Luck to you!
@jimbo2766 in my first crown levels, I went from CL8 to CL 21 before getting gems again, that was my longest stretch. I got PP’s once 5, charms and 6 buildings. That really stunk, but in the next 9 crown levels I got gems 7 times and 2 buildings, so that was awesome. CL 38 to 44, I got charms 6 times and 1 bldg, really didn’t like that. Since then, I’ve gotten gems at least every few levels and I’m on CL 65 now. I don’t mind the buildings, but I sure don’t like the charms, even though they pay out millions. Gems can give me so much more.
I don’t keep track of what i got like most do but i do know of users getting 50% gems and 50% buildings and charms combined. many of us think a charm for grand prize is sad. the question is shouldn’t we all be getting the same rewards for the same achievement. why are some getting more and others getting less. i know and hear users getting an unbelievable amount from these last 20 crowns. it makes me feel that i am not worth as much as others. even tho i am a friendly guy that respect other users. well i hope your luck is good. thank you for your reply. take care
I feel like I’m a red-headed stepchild here, spending more for less. Must have tripped the “CW sniffs-out- sucker-algorithm. I left Caesars over diminishing returns for dollars spent. I’m considering the same for this site.
