Tips and Tricks for Beginners and Veterans in Casino World
Building Your City
-
Focus on upgrading your city with level 4 (tier 21) monuments, as these significantly boost treasure box payouts and provide regular coins and prizes.
-
Buildings can be purchased with building bucks, or you can convert gems into building bucks for upgrades.
-
Customize your city layout for fun - store buildings you don’t like in the storage tab. Stored buildings still generate income and prizes.
-
Remember to collect your city’s income and prizes at least every three days.
-
Notably, newly added buildings contribute significantly more to the treasure box payout during this honeymoon period. Therefore, maintaining a consistent practice of incorporating new buildings each day is advisable to ensure a continuously augmented treasure box payout.
-
All buildings contribute to the treasure boxes tier. Each tier have a base payout with a multiplier. For example if your brown treasure box is maxed out, it will pay the following with up to a 10x multiplier for gems/passes/coins and some sort of multiplier for charms with Mystic and L7 being the max. Recently, I noticed that CW has introduced an additional multiplier to determine your treasure box tier. However, there’s a small chance you might occasionally be bumped down to a lower tier.
Base payout Max payout 1000 Gems 10,000 Gems 2000 Party Passes 20,000 Party Passes Luckiest 7 Charm Luckiest 7 Charm Mystic Ruby Charm Mystic Ruby Charm 25M coins 250M coins -
Leverage the grace period of new buildings, also known as the Honeymoon Period (HMP), for maximum advantage.
-
Traditional buildings acquired from the building shop come with a 4-day HMP duration. During this period, the building’s contribution to the treasure box starts with an approximate 72x multiplier and gradually returns to the regular payout by the end of the fourth day. This multiplier also influences the green prizes associated with the given building.
-
Monuments, however, follow a distinct HMP pattern that isn’t substantial enough to make a significant impact. Monuments have a 2-day HMP, and their multiplier is determined based on the final two days of a regular building’s HMP.
-
To optimize your city’s development, it’s most efficient to purchase as many T14 buildings as feasible and let them remain within the full 4-day HMP. Consequently, aim to acquire fewer smaller buildings to construct monuments for evolution.
-
Your primary objective should consistently be obtaining the largest possible buildings, with the pinnacle being the Level 4 Monument (L4), categorized as Tier 21. In my case, I employ the following approach: combining 2 x T6 buildings to form the initial L1 monument, then utilizing 10 x L1 monuments to evolve to a L2 monument. Forgoing focus on the HMP of smaller buildings due to their minimal impact, I prioritize acquiring more yellow monuments. To evolve to the L3 monument, I use either 1 x L2, 1 x T14, 1 x T13, and 1 x T10, or alternatively, 1 x L2 and 3 x T13. Finally, in constructing the L4 monument, I opt for 1 x L3 monument and 14 x T14 buildings, favoring this combination over 8 x L3 monuments.
This strategy optimizes the count of high-tier regular buildings engaged in the HMP phase, especially when compared to the monument-based approach.
-
Sometimes, we’ll follow a monument based approach - building two T6 buildings at a time until they’re combined into an L4 monument, but this can be time consuming. At a certain point, it becomes more about enjoying the game rather than strictly progressing.
City coin and green prize collection
Every building has a power meter operating behind the scenes. The power meter for green prizes varies depending on the type of prize - charms, passes, or gems. Charms have the lowest requirement, while passes and gems share the same, higher requirement to max out their levels.
This maximum power meter level is achieved with the largest buildings in your city, which are level 4 monuments.
The power meter for charm prizes is relatively easier to max out. For instance, a 6-hour interval is generally sufficient to potentially acquire the highest available charm, such as the Golden Playing Card or Holiday Wine. However, 6 hours is typically not enough to reach the maximum power meter levels for passes and gems, as these require a longer accumulation period to exceed the base 85 Gems / 85 Passes / 8.5M Coins threshold.
Multiplier Effect: There is also a multiplier, possibly up to 5x, that applies to gem and pass prizes. This means instead of receiving the standard 85 Gems or 85 Passes in a 6-hour window, you could potentially collect up to 425 Gems or Passes depending on the multiplier. The multiplier may be even higher, though I haven’t fully delved into the details yet.
The likelihood of obtaining passes or gems seems to be around 20:1 buildings. These ratios are based on observations and educated guesses. I’m uncertain about the maximum gem/pass levels for an L4 monument. These estimations exclude the influence of the HMP (Honeymoon Period).
With this information in mind, you have two main strategies for collecting green prizes:
- Frequent Collection: Collect every 6 hours to maximize the quantity of green prizes, focusing on charms and hoping for occasional gem/pass prizes.
- Extended Collection Intervals: Wait for a 12-hour interval or longer, allowing time for more buildings to accumulate gem/pass green prizes while the charm prizes max out within the initial 6-hour window.
In my case, I’ve chosen the first option, as I aim for quantity to increase the chances of obtaining gems and passes while maintaining my city ranking. I prefer not to let the green prize power meter stay maxed out for charms while gems and passes are still powering up. However, since I don’t know how many green prizes contain gems or passes, this approach feels more balanced.
Note: Green prizes stack with coin collections if left uncollected, but they will not be factored into the next calculation of available green prize quantities. Stacked green prizes will automatically be collected during your next collection.
Level 4 monuments
The earlier article on city coin and green prize collection provides details about the prizes. Green prizes are distributed randomly across all your buildings. To increase the likelihood of green prizes appearing on a Level 4 building, aim to populate your city with as many Level 4 monuments as possible. If you have too many smaller buildings, the prizes will tend to be smaller, so focusing on higher-tier monuments is key to maximizing rewards.
Momuments
There are 4 series of monuments.
Monument Level | Tier | Name (Series 1) | Rarity |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 7 | Classic Fountain Crystal | Blue |
1 | 7 | Lustrous Fountain Crystal | Yellow |
2 | 10 | Mysterious UFO Crystal | Blue |

3 | 15 | Giga Construct Crystal | Blue |
3 | 15 | Tera Construct Crystal | Yellow |
4 | 21 | Exa Dimension Crystal | Blue |
4 | 21 | Prismatic Dimension Crystal | Yellow |
This is the most efficient method without over shooting the evolve meter, it works the same for all 4 series of monuments.
- 2 x T6 (100 gems) evolves to a Classic/Lustrous Fountain Crystal Level 1 Monument (Tier 7).
- 10 x T7/L1 Monument (1000 gems) evolves to a Mysterious/Beaming UFO Crystal Level 2 Monument (count includes the one to evolve) - this will maximus the rare L1 monuments you can potentially get.
- Alternatively you could use 1 x L1 Fountain Crystal Monument + 2 x T8 + 1 x T9 instead to make the L2 Monument if you are not looking to maximize the number of rare monuments you would like.
- 1 x L2 UFO Crystal Monument (1000 gems) + 3 x T13 (9000 gems) evolves to a Resonant/Hyper A.I. Crystal L3 Monument (Tier 15).
- 8 x L3 A.I Crystal (80K gems) will evolve into the Level 4 final Eternal/Cosmic Millennium Crystal.
- Total cost to make one Level 4 Eternal/Cosmic Millennium Crystal is 80K gems or 2B building bucks.
Make/Evolve | Gems | Bldgs / Monuments | Alternative |
---|---|---|---|
L1 Monument | 100 | 2 x T6 | |
L2 Monument | 1,000 | 10 x L1 | (1 x L1) + (2 x T8) + (1 x T9) |

L4 Monument | 80,000 | (1 x L3) + (14 x T14) | 8 x L3 |
Treasure Boxes
-
Open treasure boxes regularly; they are an essential part of the game.
-
The following are what you should expect to receive in each type of box. Expected prizes listed in order of chance per box type.
- Flaming lightning : gems.
- Bubbling lightning : party passes.
- Steaming lightning : charms.
- Smoking lightning : coins.
- Flaming : charms > gems > passes.
- Bubbling : charms > passes > gems.
- Steaming : charms > passes > gems.
- Smoking : coins > charms > passes > gems.
-
Prioritize obtaining gems, passes, charms, and then coins, following this sequence. Avoid the purple box unless it contains a flaming lightning, as it’s generally not worth the effort. Opt for the brown box instead and wait for the next option if no guaranteed gems or passes (maybe not purple) are available.
-
When deciding between flaming lightning and bubbling lightning, lean towards flaming due to the relative rarity of gems. Claim rewards whenever all your buildings offer coins, which occurs every 6 hours.
Note: Flaming boxes have a higher chance of yielding gems compared to bubbling boxes.
-
This is a general guide, and there are aspects and details that I haven’t fully covered. Depending on your treasure box tier or city size, your game strategy may vary slightly from this guide. For instance, DG and I often stick to continuously picking brown boxes for quantity and only focus on guaranteed gem boxes. The rest, we usually skip.
-
Your goal is to get a minimum of 22 x Level 4 Monuments or their equivalent. The maximum treasure box payout is reached after investing roughly 1.8 million gems’ worth of buildings.
-
By extrapolating, the purple box reaches its maximum potential at an expenditure of 225,000 gems on buildings/momuments, while the yellow box does so at 450,000 gems, the blue box at 900,000 gems, and the brown box at 1.8 million gems.
Gems and Parties
- Spend gems however makes you happy - whether it’s on parties or upgrading your city for long-term gains.
- If you leave the game idle, keep the screen on your city or a slot game. Occasionally, others might buy bonus charms that double winnings for everyone in the room.
- Save your gem reserves for the purpose of acquiring T13+ tier buildings, as the treasure box payout scales with the size of your city. Every building undergoes an expedited payout during the initial 3-4 days, commonly referred to as the “honeymoon period.” During this time frame, the first 6 hours will get a about a 72-fold increase in payout speed, which subsequently tapers off to normal levels by the fourth day.
Sea of Riches Spins
- Save your Sea of Riches spins for days when payouts are doubled or mega prizes are tripled.
- Keep three bronze spins handy for challenges that require three spins in a row.
- Speedup Tired of waiting on the SOR game for hours? Just refresh the browser after you click play (drop coin). The prizes (Charms / Coins / Fish / Gems) are awarded as soon as you drop the coin. You can complete all the 2x free spins in no time and no need to watch the animation. You can confirm the prizes by noting down your charm/coin/pass balance before playing. Note: doing this will not count towards the achievements
Challenges
- Don’t hesitate to switch challenges if you don’t like them - use the copper circular arrow in the challenge box.
- Harder challenges like hosting parties often reward more season points.
- Switch out all 10-point challenges daily at the start of the month at least till you unlock the Treasure Box speedup and/or the extra charm benefit. This increases your chances of receiving 15, 20, or 30-point challenges to progress quicker.
Charm Management
- Avoid playing games without equipping charms.
- To save charms, go to the charm settings and deselect “auto-equip charms.”
- Charm Buffer Clearing - Here’s a handy trick: You can swiftly clear all your charms from the charm buffer without needing to refresh. Follow these steps: 1- Access the charm manager. 2- Click on “Charm settings.” 3- Close the charm settings. Completing steps 1 to 3 will eliminate all charms, except for the four visible sets in your buffer. To fully empty the charm buffer, simply remove the remaining four sets of charms.
Joining Parties
- To enter a party early:
- Click on the party location and note the room name.
- Visit the host’s city, select Party venus, and join the party room.
- Pay your passes or gems when prompted to join the party.
Party Etiquette
- Pay attention to party requirements (e.g., “2 yacht toss” means buying two yachts).
- If extra charms are purchased at a party, say thank you and consider contributing if possible.
- Important points to consider: In the context of smaller parties, I’ve observed a significant amount of pressure arising from other players to contribute or outright being hostile. It’s essential to recognize that the purpose of these smaller gatherings is to assist lower-level players in their advancement or to cater to specific challenges. For instance, busting a beer party demands either 1000 gems or 200 beers, resulting in a net gain of 225 beers. In contrast, participating in a 10x beer party (yields 250 beers) at the cost of 50 party passes proves more lucrative. This approach yields 25 additional beers while being entirely cost-neutral in terms of gems. Thus, there’s no need for discontentment or resorting to negative behavior by coercing others into contributing charms.
Crown Levels
-
There are 110 Crown levels in total. The prizes aren’t displayed in the challenge and are represented by a mystery prize box. Rewards are drawn from a random pool, and here’s what you can typically expect to receive.
- Up to 30K Gems
- A.I. Cube Charm
- Airship Charm
- Ancient Monolith Charm
- Diamond Cat Charm
- Dyson Sphere Charm
- Flying Car Charm
- Golden Shroud Charm
- Jade Army Charm
- Medieval Helmet Charm
- T-Rex Skeleton Charm
- Castle Fortress Building T16
- Crystal Mountain Building T17
- Diamond Resort Casino Building T17
- Eco Superstructure Building T17
- Ecosphere Building T16
- Farsight Observatory Building T16
- Jubilee Tower Building T16
- Mountain Citadel Building T17
- Treasure Orb Building T18
- Tree Of Riches Building T18
-
Crown rewards buildings are generally better than gems prizes. Crown building rewards surpass the worth of a majority of the Crown gem prizes.
- T13 Building : 3000 gems
- T14 Building : 5000 gems
- T15 Building (monument) : 10,000 gems
- T16 crown building : 20,000 gems
- T17 crown building : 30,000 gems
- T18 crown building : 40,000 gems.
Cashing out charms
The optimal method for converting unicorns into coins lies within Sparkplug Poker. Personally, I tend to lean toward jacks or better due to the improved odds for lower hands. Engaging in 100 hands x 5000 coin bet, summing up to 500K. Should you secure a win of 500K coins, this results in the cashing out of all four sets of unicorns, amounting to a total of 20 unicorns, equivalent to 100M coins.
This approach holds the distinction of being the CW’s premier game, offering substantial benefits with minimal risk. Essentially, you’re staking 500K coins or even less for the prospect of yielding around 100M coins.
While Mahjong is an option, it necessitates a considerable investment of time and is less expedient when compared to Sparkplug Poker for cashing out a large amount of charms; Eg- 10K unicorns into tangible rewards.
Moreover, if you’re comfortable with higher risk, consider raising your bet to 100 hands x 50,000 coins, totaling 5 million coins. This will result in cashing out all four sets of unicorns in every round.
Why Sparkplug?
Charms have a linear relationship to their total coin value. Each charm has a payout range, and the average payout is proportional to the charm’s cost. For example, a unicorn charm pays between approximately 3.98M and 6M coins, with an average payout of around 5M coins. While the total coin value of a charm is important, it becomes secondary if you can’t cash it out efficiently.
Each charm has unique payouts for every win, and while there is a payout ratio, I haven’t fully analyzed it. For instance, if the ratio is 2:1 and you win 1,000 coins, the charm would drop 2,000 coins. Each game has a different payout ratio for each charm type.
To maximize efficiency, aim to cash out as many charms as possible with the lowest bet that still uses the charm’s highest payout ratio for that game. This is why I recommend using unicorn charms in Sparkplug - they tend to provide optimal results with a 200:1 cashout ratio.
Charm Payout animation
When it comes to charm payouts, there’s a specific predetermined range from which they pay out.
However, if you’re playing your rounds too quickly, you might encounter a situation where the charm payout animation can’t keep up with your rapid gameplay. Consequently, you might notice a continuous increase in coin drop animation associated with the charm, even after its coins have been used up.
This animation can create the impression that the charm is still active, even though it has already been depleted, so your gameplay is proceeding without the benefits of the charms. To avoid this, it’s advisable to wait until the charm’s animation finishes or until a new charm from your charm buffer replaces it before making your next spin, hand, or move.
Also, keep in mind that some players might think charms are paying out more than they actually are due to the cumulative charm payout animation for each round, hand, or action during rapid gameplay. The animation displays the total amount earned from that set of charms, and it doesn’t drop that increasing amount every time. This insight should help you better manage your charm usage and gameplay strategy.
How Charm Stored Coin Values Are Derived
- Initial Stored Value on Drop:
When you receive a charm (either from a party or when someone tosses it), the stored coin value for that charm is set at the moment of its “drop.” This value isn’t fixed; it comes from a predefined range and has variability of approximately ±25%. For example, if the range for a charm is 4M–6M coins, your specific charm might be assigned any value within that range when it’s received. - Random Assignment Within a Range:
The assigned stored value is determined randomly within the range for that particular charm type. This is why players may observe slightly different payouts for the same type of charm across different drops. - Cashout Ratio:
Although stored values are consistent across games, the cashout ratio - how much coin is paid out relative to the amount won per bet, can vary depending on the game you’re playing. This affects how quickly you can collect the charm’s full stored value.
How Charm Values Average Out
- Law of Large Numbers:
As you collect more charms of the same type, the individual variations in stored values (from different drops) start to average out. For example:
- If one charm pays closer to the lower end of its range (e.g., 4.2M coins), and another pays closer to the higher end (e.g., 5.8M coins), collecting more charms will result in the average payout stabilizing closer to the “true mean” of the range (e.g., 5M coins).
- Real-World Example:
For Unicorns, which have a known range of approximately 4M–6M coins, DG’s collection of over 100,000 Unicorns averages to about 24.97M coins per set of 5 (or roughly 4.96M per individual Unicorn). This aligns with the expected average due to the large sample size, which minimizes the effect of outliers. - Fresh Sets vs. Overall Average:
A fresh set of charms you receive may deviate significantly from the average due to the ±25% variability. However, over time and with more samples, these deviations will balance out, and your overall average will converge to the true mean for that charm type.
Why Your Charm Values May Differ from Others
- Individual differences in charm averages occur because players collect and test charms in varying quantities.
- Unless you’ve collected a very large number (e.g., 50,000+ charms of the same type), your average may not fully reflect the true mean due to the variability in stored values at the time of drop.
Charm values aren’t static, they are assigned within a range at the time of drop. While individual sets may vary, the more charms you collect, the closer your average payout will get to the true mean. To get the most accurate estimate, focus on collecting a large sample size and observe how the averages stabilize over time.
Charm Averaging - prior explanation
- For a considerable amount of time, I've been on a quest to decipher the inner workings of charms in CW. Thanks to collaborating with Tickle we finally shed some light on this matter.
Let’s clarify this further using unicorns as an example. When you receive a fresh set of five unicorns (5x) from a party, their payout typically averages around 25 million coins. However, the actual payout for a set can vary, ranging approximately from 19 million to 31 million coins. This variability occurs due to the averaging process.
How Averaging Works
When charms are stored in your charm buffer (displayed on the right side of the screen), their values begin to average out. If you decide to deplete all your unicorn charms to zero and then restock them, no averaging occurs during this process because there were no unicorns in stock at the time. Conversely, if you keep accumulating unicorns over time without depleting them, their payout values gradually converge toward the median, which is approximately 25 million coins per set.
Think of it like the stock market, where you average down or average up when you buy shares at different prices. Similarly, as you add charms to your inventory over time, their values adjust and average out, stabilizing their overall payout.
Example with Mystic Rubies
To further illustrate, imagine you have two Mystic Ruby charms, each typically paying around 100 million coins. You load one Mystic Ruby into your charm buffer and cash out 50 million coins. Then, you remove that Mystic Ruby from the buffer and return it to your charm manager. Now, both Mystic Rubies will equalize their payout values at 75 million coins each, instead of one remaining at 100 million and the other at 50 million.
This equalization process ensures that as charms accumulate in your inventory, their payouts stabilize around the average value, helping to smooth out fluctuations over time.
Gift Charms
Gift charms, such as hugs, kisses, thank yous, and similar tokens, have a unique advantage over charms tossed in a room. These charms contain approximately 10 times more coins compared to their room-tossed counterparts. The reason for this significant difference is that gift charms are not split among multiple players in a room; instead, they are sent directly to an individual.
When a charm is tossed in a room, the total coin value is divided among all participants. In contrast, gift charms deliver their full value to the recipient.
Advanced strategy
DG and I take breaks at the beginning of the month for a couple of reasons.
First, it allows us to replenish our party passes to maintain the overflows efficiently. Taking a break before the treasure box speedup benefit ensures we don’t deplete our passes too quickly. Some players prefer to wait until the extra charm benefit kicks in before attending parties to maximize charm usage.
Second, we refrain from building, making, or evolving any buildings or monuments four days before the end of the month until we get our treasure box speedup the following month. This strategy maximizes the benefit of the HMP from the buildings. It doesn’t make sense to purchase or evolve/build a new monument without the treasure box speedup, as you’d essentially be missing out on half of the TBs.
Treasure Box Strategy and Footnote
This is a general guide, and there are aspects and details that I haven’t fully covered. Depending on your treasure box tier or city size, your game strategy may vary slightly from this guide. For instance, DG and I often stick to continuously picking brown boxes for quantity and only focus on guaranteed gem boxes. The rest, we usually skip.
Sometimes, we’ll follow a monument-based approach, building two T6 buildings at a time until they’re combined into an L4 monument, but this can be time-consuming. At a certain point, it becomes more about enjoying the game rather than strictly progressing.

Miscellaneous Tips
- Free power-ups: Visit Dragon Mahjong, Lilypad Solitaire, and Fringo daily for freebies.
- To reduce party invites, go to settings under the privacy & sharing tab and uncheck “Show party invitations from Friends”.
- Use the favorites menu to quickly access your most-played games.
- Jewels of Osiris is a great game to master for grinding coins early without charms.
- Free coins - Every week on Tuesday (PST/PDT), FlowPlay shares a code for 100,000 coins on their Facebook page: Casino World.
- Bingo - Dislike playing the dabbing bingo challenge? You can use Cha-chingo to complete the challenge. Yes even though it specifically states “SIlver Screen Bingo” and if you click go on the challenge will bring you to the Silver screen bingo. However you can use cha-chingo to complete the challenge. You can even refresh the browser or exit the game right after clicking “play” on cha-chingo as the results are already determined. Just skip the animation and you don’t loose anything but gain some time.
- Reset - CW has a feature where it refunds your original bet amount if you get disconnected from a game 20 times per calendar month. Most people notice this with Mahjong or Lily Pond, but these aren’t the best games for this feature since you only get back a maximum of 10M coins. You can simulate a reset by refreshing your browser mid-game. The best game to use this feature on is Blackjack. Bet on 5 hands at 50M each for maximum benefit. When the dealer finishes hitting the cards, she takes about 10 seconds to pay out and collect bets. During this time, if you don’t like the outcome, refresh your browser, and CW will refund you 250M. I only reset if I lose 200M (4 hands) or more; anything less isn’t worth the reset. Note that only the original bet amount is refunded; any additional coins used for doubles or splits are not included in the refund. You can use or skip charms - it doesn’t affect the refund.
- Mah-jong / Lillypond / Solitare - Exiting the game before completing will use one reset
