There are a LOT of tips, tricks and advice on this forum. It will help you learn how to build and maintain your city (your cash cow), how to know the game a bit better, what parties to attend, etc.

I followed this advice and went from Joining to MS 70 in 13 months. I am now 18 months here and at Crown 7.

It CAN be done!

@Marie59 , you need to brush up on your math. VIP costs $20 a month. That’s $240 a year, so for 5 years it would be $1,200. That’s still quite a lot of money, but not over $2,000, unless you’re also adding in the cost of extra gems that you bought.

Marie, 5 years and haven’t hit 70? It’s plain and simple, you are over betting for the size of the charms you are using, that is if you are even using charms. One cannot consistently win at the slots by betting and not using the right charms. So one should not blame CW. One should check their own style of play. If done right and one follows tips from others there is no reason 70 should not be reached in a year, let alone 5.

Not VIP here. I’ve been here 5+ years and am 40 bil away from milestone 69. It’s not a race. I take chances and am stupid in slots, sometimes losing up to 4 bil at a time. It’s a game, have fun. You CAN get there without VIP status.

Hi @Marie59,

All the games on CW are designed to be similar to a real casino. They are not meant to help you progress in the long run. There are some games that do have a player’s edge, like Jewels of Osiris, Mahjong, and Blackjack (if you play correctly with a large coin balance to handle the swings).

The only way you can consistently progress is to always use charms. Be sure to use the correct charm for each type of game, along with the right clover for your bet size. Different charms perform better on different games in terms of your payout ratio. For example, Spark Plug pays out 200:1 if you use Unicorns. That means if you win 500K, all 4 sets of Unicorns will cash out.

Make sure to manage your city and tend to your Treasure Box. Your Treasure Box is where you will get the most passes to attend parties and load up on charms. Always stock up on charms before playing any game - don’t test your luck by thinking this time will be different!

It’s generally not a fruitful strategy to try to simply win your way to the next level. The games in CW are ancillary to My City. Investing your city will yield coins, party passes, and gems. Use the party passes to collect charms. Use the charms to soften your losses and enhance your winnings. Personally, I do not use charms while playing slots. I generally expect to lose on slots but will only tolerate a certain amount of loss. Of course, I win big occasionally, but that’s a bonus. I use charms in other games to recoup my losses on slots. I use small charms in Lily Pond and big charms in Single-Player 3-card poker. That’s my strategy. NightGuy has conducted in-depth analysis on how games perform in CW. So, heed his advice and you will advance.

I spent almost 2 years at VIP status, trying, very slowly, to get to MS70. However, it wasn’t until I was at MS65 that I began to really concentrate on building up my city. Once I did that, it didn’t take that long to get to MS70 and beyond. From 2020 onwards, I had tried different ‘game strategies’ recommended by various people on CW. It wasn’t until I read Night Guy’s tips on building up your city and switched to that approach that I finally got into the CLs. The “rent” you receive from all your buildings definitely help get you further along in this game!
