How do I go about building or upgrading a building to get (the building) Eternal Rest (tier 8)?
Roffa, I believe Eternal Rest is gifted by CW in their Rewards, I had one before and used it to evolve into a higher building, there’s no sure way to get that building.
Ty Jimee for your fast response appreciated! Was afraid of that, my friend has one and I liked it very much. Visited your city some weeks ago for the evolution of monuments, was very impressed & was a big help to evolve my own!

Hi, you can buy the Hotel Spooked building if you have not already got it. It would cost you 1.2M building bucks or 50 Gems 
I never upgrade a building it is cheaper to just buy the same tier building only evolve monuments
Calvin, I don’t see Eternal Rest on the list. It may be part of the Lifetime list, but I am not even that far along. (Insert eyeroll) I have been losing too much.
Eternal Rest is not offered in the Building Shop. You can get it as an upgrade from Hotel Spooked, though I agree I never buy an upgrade building offer. You lose the current building and pay for that upgrade. But if he wants the Eternal Rest building, that is the way to obtain it.
I know there are buildings given when one hits Lifetime Achievements, but as I said, I am not that far along. Seems like buildings I am offered to purchase change at times.
Northwoods Girl, a lot of the buildings you will get after each MS will be party buildings,
which cannot be used to build monuments or evolved or gotten rid of. There are 70 MSs to lifer and there are about 23 party buildings to be picked up along the way. The non party buildings like Eternal Rest can be used to build monuments.

I went through a few of the LA’s since I last posted. Just can’t get my total earnings up right now to get some of the non party buildings ‘that’ way.
@Northwoods_Girl The most notable aspect about your city is the number of monuments. At some point bite the bullet, you have a few 5 to 7th tier buildings. Two tier 6 makes one monument. You’ll need about 10 monuments to evolve your rare monument. Evolve that. Then start building more monuments as you get the gems or building bucks. Thats when I took the best of the new monuments and evolve them giving multiple 2nd level monuments. After this someone may have better ideas I’m only ranked between 5-6k
Night Guy had a breakdown of the types of chest the town gives out but basically its
The contents are random unless Lightning limits the types of contents
Smoking= coins
Bubbling= party tickets
Flaming = gems
Steam = charms
I pick flaming or bubbling each time regardless of whether lightning is present.
Use almost all gems you get on you city buying tier 6 buildings when you’re out of building bucks. I’m a newcomer, so this is just what I’ve gleaned. I think when you evolve your monument, it bumps you up into new pay bracket and it sounds like this is what your goal is.
Now I’ve had issues with consistancy in what I receive. Sometime choosing two back to back 4vip/8 hour box, the second one I don’t even receive coin. I’ve gotten 800 tickets out of an 8 hour and 54 tickets out of an 8 hour. The volatility of the system leaves me scratching my head. I’d love to see the actual formula, because I can’t make heads or tails on how its determined.

I was planning on evolving when I obtain more buildings/building blocks. That is slow going, but I am hopeful!
Rimuru, As for which TB to pick, the system rewards those who spend a lot of time on their site. By the time you prick one purple box, you could have pricked 22 brown boxes which definitely will give you more of anything than a purple box can but you will need to be almost glued to the screen because it’s once every 9 minutes ( double that if you are not VIP and before the 8th of the month) With all due respect to the seniors, the lightning and flaming tips don’t work for me, I have gotten good prizes from the brown boxes and not so good prizes from the purple boxes, so if you are spending a lot of time in front of the screen always pick the brown box. It seems like when you complete the daily challenges, a new day starts, in the beginning , you will get the better prizes, party passes, gems, valuable charms, big sack of coins. After about the 20th prick, the prizes taper off, you will get smaller sacks of coins ,less valuable charms, until a new set of daily challenges is completed and a new day is started. That’s just my exxperience.
