It’s hard to get excited about getting a charm as a crown reward considering the comparatively low payout of about 800M coins. A T19 building is worth 30k gems which translates to about 4B coins.
Charms are so ho-hum…you can pick up 6 L7s in a couple of hours of opening
TBs, which is about the same as an 8 clover charm.
I LOVE when a Dyson turns up. Not sure total gross value, but def a nice companion in games for me anyway. It’s never an exciting moment when a charm appears, but some do add value

I agree, I do not like getting them! 
But, the ones “I get” pay me “BILLIONS” of Coins!
