As of the first of February, players who were grandfathered in are no longer able to receive gems from SOR, plus the VIP reward road only shows 800 gem rewards this month, instead of the 1,000+ gems which is listed as one of the advantages of becoming a VIP. I wasn’t one of the players who was receiving gems from SOR, but I’m mentioning it on behalf of those who were.
Usually there is a 1,000 gem reward spread throughout the VIP road in 200 gem increments. Previously an additional 1,000 gems had often been the End of the Road reward, although more and more lately it’s been replaced by buildings, charms and occasionally new city themes.
To add insult to injury, today I received a 2x gem buy offer. I don’t know how many others received the same offer, but it feels like a slap in the face. You take away/reduce two sources we previously had for getting gems, and then expect us to jump on buying them by throwing out a 2x offer two days later? Sorry CW, but I don’t think so. The value of the things we get from CW and especially for those who have VIP membership has continued to erode over the last couple of years, and has driven away more and more players. It’s become an ongoing issue, rather than something that should be an occasional adjustment.
The sea of riches spins was basically a pretty cheap payout before but now with no chance at winning gems its almost worthless to play. When a user has even 10 billion coins winning 800k and spending 100 gems is not worth it.
at 7 seas for 3 yrs and here for 17 plus months i never got gems on SEA OF RICHES> i save all mine for bogo day. and still on 7 seas i have 120 spins lol
The January double Sea of Riches day had me end up with about 230 total Gold spins after I was finished. Never stopped on a single Gem prize much less the 400. They may as well no longer be on there then.
I agree Kev … I’ve always seen gems in SOR until now. However, almost always I watch the counter stop just before or after a gems prize in SOR. I doubt the loss of gems will have much of an impact on my game, considering that I only rarely got gems from any SOR games.
I have lost my motivation for playing SOR because trying to win the gems were a challenge to me and my favorite prize. So I don’t play as much anymore. I think taking away the gems from players hurts the CW image. It used to be fun being in CW. Good way to lose business. Thankyou for your post Luck is Alady
This SoR is not a Game here that will get you a CROWN! You can not BET on it? You can not use Charms and “WIN” on it? It is JUST something most of us PLAY on Challenge Days?
