Día de los Muertos - Remembering those we have lost

Today/Tonight is Día de los Muertos where we join in memory with the spirits of our friends we have lost. I would like to add to the altar friends in CW we have lost.

This year, I lost 3 friends here:

1 Zed - This english lady’s avatar was named after her latest dog which she trained. I loved her videos on dog training and would talk to her when I got my dog. Her unicorn parties were great and she kept telling people to save the gems for the cities.

Morningstar - I knew her mostly from poker - she was sassy and fun, a lot like me. I’ll miss those private holdem games with her.

Jack356 - Omaha player from Arizona, one of the kindest men I have ever met. I had long chats with him and even though we came from such different worlds, his open heart and kindness gives me hope in such a divisive time. .

Thank you in honoring their spirits. Please add whomever you want.

I would like to add Enjoli / E-malama to the altar.

We were all in shock and so deeply saddened to hear she had passed away from complications after her aortic replacement surgery.

Just before her procedure, she sent us this incredibly heartfelt message, which she aptly titled “matters of the heart,” asking for “whispers to God.”

Her Last Message to Us (“matters of the heart”):

"dear friends Night & Day i just wanted to thank you and Day for all the love and support and the many fun parties and all your wisdom I have trully enjoyed knowing and growing to love the both of you. you are both so very special and i wish you and your family much Health, Wealth, and especially Love ALWAYS.

But i am also writing to ask you both to send up a whisper to GOD on my behalf on the tuesday. I have an Aortic replacement scheduled tuedsay morning. and every lit!tle whisper will help. I’m not sure how long i will be gone, but i will have a tablet with me 101 i will lose my mind with out my reading, music and games hehehehehhehe, i least i think i will try to keep my mind hehhehehheheheh

PLease know that you both have meant the world to me & eM too, hehhehehhe, Love you both! Hugehugs and Joyful days to you both ALWAYS see you soon..e & eM"

A Final Farewell

E Malama/Enjoli… we will forever cherish your last words to us. It truly was a “matter of the heart” for everyone who knew you. What a sad day. That whisper to God you asked for… we will be sure to send some. You can now whisper to God for real.

I would like to add Bond Girl 007 to the altar.

We will forever miss her. BG was such a vibrant and fun-loving part of our parties. She loved to do those mis-matched fashion challenges with me, always showing up in the most outrageous outfits. I literally have so many custom avatars just to be able to accept her challenges!

She was a constant presence, always attending parties - even when she had to sneak away from work just to join in and chat with everyone.

When I first came to CW, she was the one who got me started with Unicorns. Her tips were incredibly helpful. We even had our own “code” we’d use to talk about how well charms were paying.

She loved to play poker over the weekends, something I sadly never got a chance to join her for. We even had a date planned for her to host my 8T party…

She was a wonderful friend, and her loss is deeply felt.

RIP Bond Girl. You will live in our hearts forever.

I’m sorry to hear of everyone’s losses….may there be peace and strength among all of you. There is a CW pal who recently lost her husband, may he rest peacefully, and may her life be less sad in time. Hugs.
