Just curious if anyone runs into a very good fringo player and they always finish in the top 3. not looking for names btw lol
Yeah, that definitely happens, as I’ve seen some names that will always get top spots or fringo. They’re usually just regular players who’ve really figured out the game’s strategy. It’s probably similar to how some folks won the Halloween Fringo - stocking up on fireworks and bombs while using up most of the other powerups on lower islands.
When I do play Fringo, I usually end up in top 3. I do believe this is a game that has decent strategy where you can win. I don’t really like the game, but here is what i do:
- Never play without a lot of power-ups. You can visit Fringo once a day to get your power-ups.
- Before the game, investigate your board and memorize multiples, usually 2 groups of 3 and 2 groups of 2. If any of these multiple has 4 or more power-ups, change the board.
- Maximize your power-ups. Avoid making moves that waste one, like adding a double power-up when there are already two in the bar.
- Use your power-ups as soon as the bar fills. It has to be empty for next fill.
- If you can, try to use the power-up for fruits that are multiple. Fruit family can be best be used on a 3-multiple.
I’m sure there’s more. That’s what I do and I play the 250,000 island.
Thank you so much for these tips! I see you beat me so many times and could not understand why! By playing the 250,000 island I thought your winnings wouldn’t so high! I thought you might be saving a power-up till the last couple of fruits.
Also, can you or anyone tell me how to look at the paylines? I can’t seem to see them except for a few seconds after a game ends. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR HELPING!
Click on the number at the side of each line shows you where that number line is or there’s a toggle switch to put all the lines on at once which I think is at the bottom of the screen, says something like show play lines
use power ups? then all you get is rudeness. some don’t get you have to use them. fingos full of sore losers lol
How do you choose which board to use?
By the Coin amount you want to bet and/or Power-ups you want to use and possibly buy.
There are several boards to choose from in each island. I’m not talking about the different islands.
Ah OK. I chose to play ones where the 3 point spots are adjacent or in the same column. This way if you’re lucky enough to have the Bomb or Fireworks come up you can wipe them out en masse
Ha, you said a mouthful there Charlie Tuna
I think the WORST Fringo power ups are Bandit and Magnet! I’ve had people get SO mad at me for using them. Especially when you save your Bandit and use it on the last fruit, and pop to #1. I thought that was game strategy! Also, we don’t pick WHO we’re using the Bandit/Magnet on! It’s random. Anyway, I’ve tried alleviate the disgruntled players by announcing pre-game that yes, I will be using power ups, and giving everyone a cocktail to calm down, haha ![]()
If one goes to Topolini Island and purchase Power-Ups,
you will only get Single Daubs and Fruit Family Power-Ups.
That took me so long to realize. Purchasing the power ups on Jackpot gives you all of them, but if you’re on the smaller islands, you just get those. It doesn’t really matter after you’ve amassed thousands of power ups. You’ll never get rid of enough low end ones to only use the rockets…but early on in the game, it would have been good to know! ![]()
@Minx If you have the time, there is actually a way to “clean out” your inventory. Similar to how you only get specific power-ups when you purchase them at certain islands, you can also use up all your lower-end power-ups at those smaller islands.
If you burn through the single dabs, fruit families, bandit, magnetize, triple reward, UFO’s and extra fruits on Yolinda Island, you can eventually get your inventory down to where you’re only left with the bombs, fireworks and double payouts for any island. It takes a bit of a commitment, but it’s the best way to “stick it to the man” and clear the clutter!
Haha, yep, it would take more commitment than I’m willing to put in though! I’ve got thousands of power-ups. You were wondering what I was doing with my gems instead of buying City buildings all these years…

Can you help me please Night Guy? …BUT I’M NOT HAPPY WITH FRINGO TAKING MY DAGGONE LARGE CHARMS WHEN I KNOW I HAVE NOT USED UP ALL THE COINS ON THAT PARTICULAR CHARM…FOR INSTANCE A MYSTIC RUBY PLAYING ON A 250K BET AND THEN I’LL CHECK MY TBOX AND I’LL RECEIVE A CHARM OF ANY KIND AND AS THAT CHARM FLOATS ITS WAY OVER INTO MY PLAYING QUE THEN IT WILL MOVE A CHARM I WAS USING DOWN, WELL WHAT IT’S REALLY DOING IS IT’S TAKING MY CHARM , MAYBE A MYSTIC RUBY, AWAY.NOW IT TAKES IT AWAY AND I KNOW FOR A FACT I’VE NOT USED UP 160 OR SO MILLION FROM THAT MYSTIC RUBY…OR 100K OR WHATEVER IS ON A MYSTIC RUBY…KINDA DISHEARTENING TO PLAY WITH LARGE CHARMS ON FRINGO IF CW IS GOING TO REMOVE THEM WHEN THEY ARE NOT REALLY EMPTY…MY SON PLAYS IT A LOT AND HE NOTICED IT.SO I HAD TO TAKE A LOOK TO SEE WHAT HE MEANT AND HE WAS RIGHT SO I’M NOT SURE WHAT CHARMS TO USE WHEN PLAYING AT ANY BET AMOUNT ON FRINGO.THANK YOU KIDDO, LOVE CHARMS
Mystic Ruby typically pays out roughly 120M in any given game.
I play Fringo only on a challenge. I look for the 4 double lightning charms in a card just to know where they are. Then, when I play, I try to make sure I hit those before their lesser fruits - 1 lightning or less. I almost always score in the top 5 in a game and then end up 10th or worse in the next game. Then, I might spring back in the next game and land in the top few. I rarely end in the top 3 more than one game in a row. In games with fewer players, usually the lower end games, I can sometimes get my top scores more often and get my challenge over quicker. If I could abolish bandit and magnetize and any other powerups like those, I would do so in a heartbeat and not look back. As it is, I’ll play them as soon as I see them so I can make way for a better powerup. Nothing personal. Next game (or sooner), you’ll clobber me, so no big deal.
Hi @SouthernCharmer,
Sorry I forgot to reply to your message! Here is how it works: when a new charm from your Treasure Box pushes the last charm out of your active charm buffer, that pushed charm just waits in line. It will be the next one to reload into your buffer - provided you don’t refresh or exit the game. (If it happens to be totally empty, it won’t reload, but it definitely doesn’t just disappear!)
If you do refresh Casino World or exit the game, that pushed charm gets averaged back into your main inventory. Meaning, let’s say you have a Mystic Ruby in your inventory with 100M coins, and the Mystic Ruby that got pushed back only has 10M coins left. Your inventory will now show 2 Mystic Rubies, but it averages the balances to 55M coins each ((100M + 10M) / 2 = 55M). That is how the inventory averaging math works. If you have a larger stash of Mystic Rubies in your inventory, the averaging effect won’t drag the balance down as drastically.
I do wish CW would change the way new charms are received, though. It would be much better if they just loaded straight into your inventory instead of the active buffer.
@Samantha, can you forward this request to the developer team? Thanks!
Thank you so much kiddo
