Just a heads up, this is going to be long. I encountered a glitch this morning after throwing a party. I threw a party, which was immediately successful with 25 entries, a friend sent me an invite (to my own party), I accepted thinking, ok it will just be seen that I am already in this party as the host, somehow, my party was restarted with the 25 entry countdown, once it finished the countdown, it took extra gems from me. I reached out to cw support, who explained that even though the first party was successful some party goers missed it,due to it being filled so quickly, and cw created a second party room for the ones who missed the first one, this is questionable at best, why not state that in the rules of party throwing? also, why not give the option to decline a second party room? why not create the option to not be invited to a party you are hosting? I actually thought maybe the invite was delayed and sent late, I did not know a second room was created. I have accepted invites while already in a party, that was full, and it never took me to a second party room, this should also be studied, technology is so advanced these days, that this should not be happening. unfortunately, support stated that this is not a glitch, has anyone else encountered this during a party you hosted?
Whenever I receive an invite to a party and I’m already in one, I just click ignore. What I found a couple of times is the same person invited me to a party I’m already in. Once you “invite friends” you don’t have the option to do it more than once. I myself have ended up in an “overflow” room that rarely fills
DB ty for that, yes I tend to click ignore sometimes also, I just never thought that clicking yes would take me to a second party for me to host and take my gems. I guess
The main point is that a full room cannot hold any more than 25 people. If you leave and others are trying to get in, the next in line will take your place immediately and fill the room, again. Anybody new trying to get into your party will be put into an overflow party, which CW creates anytime the count goes past 25. The 26th person is sent to a new party we call overflow. When you accept an invitation from someone in a full party, that will remove you from the party and put you into that group in the new, overflow party. My personal rule is never to click Accept from any party invitation when I’m already in a party, whether that person is in the same party or not. It doesn’t work like call waiting. Enjoy!
