I just completed a Mahjong puzzle.
It was a fairly easy puzzle, maybe took 15 min.
(prob less time than it took me to write this complaint)
I anted 10 M and the puzzle payout was 10,010,000
Tiles Cleared Bonus: 8,190,000 Locks Freed Bonus: 1,820,000
Cmon CW I should get like at least 10% return for completing any puzzle.
I do make like 50 M to 100 M per puzzle using charms, but 0.1% return on the Puzzle itself?
And why not let me ante like 1 B on a puzzle like in Slots games?
jewels, solitaire, mahjong all need adjustments to their base payout for completion. That said, their are tricks within each to increase the bonus. I’ve seen 100m+ on jewels, and close to 7 to 8m bonus on the other two. With Lilypads, I don’t understand how the bonus is applied, has something to do with # of cards left and continuity streak. With Mahjong making sure the containers arent opened early they should be kept blocked til the last tiles are basically keeping them closed, that seasonal/flower types match exactly, now individual matches I haven’t checked to see if there is a difference in pts based on the height the tiles are at. The only reason I include jewels, is that I’ve won and with the bonus actually lost 25m on a single game. It sucks finishing a game and the bonus is only 100k. I give numbers based 500k bet/non charm games…I’m usually testing things to figure out formulae so I will play alot not using charms.
But getting those high payouts are a crapshoot even if you win.
So yes I agree there is need to adjust base payouts, adjusting the bet amount really only concerns those capable of doing so. Currently as a forced tourist on MS 42 there is no option to bet higher than the standard max.
@DL_Rimuru I’ve not found the height tiles affecting their value and embarrassingly it took me far longer than it should have to realise that power-ups can affect their value. I always tried to clear the board without using power-ups - not any longer. I don’t know if it is always the same ratio but I recently noted gold tile match & multi match boosted the value of individual tiles 5X which coincidentally matched the value of each of the locks on the board. I played a board where I was getting 186,000 coins per pair to getting 465000 per tile on each one released by the gold match or multi match. Every day is a school day!
For me, Mahjong is the ONLY “Can’t Lose” Game on CW! I only use Ponies and Blue Tonic when I play it. I get 1-3B per 10M game and never Lose a Coin! No other Game here can insure that as far as I know.
I’ve played a lot of Jewels of Osiris over the three years I’ve been here. I started tracking my bonus amounts in 2022 and found they maxed out around 70M. In the first quarter of 2023 my max bonus reached about 100M and in August I had a 239M bonus. By April 2024 my maximum bonus was 200M, and 300M by September. In November 2024, my maximum bonus had reached 400M.
This is not to say you’ll get these bonus amounts the majority of times you play, but you will get them periodically the more often and consistently you play. You can check my pictures to see how they can vary, although I did delete the ones I had from 2022. I notice if I don’t play Jewels for awhile my bonuses will decrease greatly and only pick up again when I’m playing more consistently. I’ve been using Nectars on Jewels since CW introduced them, but was using different charms up until that time.
I’ve also found the more coins you put into a slot in a session and the more often you play them, usually the more the rewards increase, and that bet level or higher jackpots don’t always translate to bigger or more wins. When we have challenges to get Free Spins, I can usually get them very quickly on most slots that I play often, but it’s more difficult on those that I don’t play much. I’ve also had my highest wins after long sessions on a single slot.
1 - 3 B each puzzle using big charms! I’ll have to try that!
I usually use Mahjong to eat up my 1, 2, & 3 Clover charms!
But you are correct, if you have developed great spatial (is that the word I want?) skills, and use 1 or 2 power-ups, you should be able to complete whatever Puzzle is thrown at you.
Some Mahjong Puzzles do require almost specific methods to avoid using a power-up here and there.
If I get a Triple Points or an Extra Power Power-up I use it right away.
I use the Gold Match to find where to find a match.
I rarely used the FireWorks Power-UP, unless I’m really in trouble.
Thanks for the tip!
Mahjong is primarily a game for fun, cashing out charms, or for beginners who want to grind coins. Most of the time, you’ll come out ahead, as it’s almost a guaranteed win. Since Mahjong guarantees a win, allowing players to bet much higher than the current limits would make it far too easy to progress quickly. This is a casino, after all, it’s designed to take your coins. The fundamental idea is that, most of the time, you’re supposed to lose, but charms help soften the blow and allow you to recover or profit strategically.
At higher levels, where billions of coins are required to reach the next milestone, Mahjong becomes less efficient for progression. The time and effort spent playing it may no longer justify the returns compared to other games with greater earning potential.
As for strategy, there are no special tricks in Mahjong; matching any tiles pays the same. This uniform payout system is intentional, it would be overly complicated to program different matches or layers to pay differently. Mahjong is designed to be a straightforward and enjoyable game, especially for beginners who need a reliable way to grind coins.
For advanced players, focusing on games with higher earning potential or those that align with your charm strategies will yield better long-term results. There are only a few games where you can consistently come out ahead, so understanding the dynamics of charm payouts and game mechanics becomes critical as you progress.
Well, I get my Free Power-ups from CW everyday and do not play the game a lot. As a result, I have thousands of them I use mine as fast as I can after I get them, strategically, and move on to the next. I only use the Triple Points to open three or more of the Red Coin Tiles or Sets of Lightning Tiles if no Red Coin Tiles available. I was recently able to Open Six Red Coin Tiles on a Triple Reward and made a TON of Coins I use Extra Energy right away. I use Swap Tiles to put Like Tile next to Red Coin Tiles if I can to be able to Open Two a once on a Triple Reward or Open up a Problem area. I use FireWorks pretty quick after I get it, It Pays a TON I use the GoldMulti Match to Open Problem Areas. I was recently Remove 8? Locked Blue Dragon Tiles with one of these And YES, I love that GoldTile Match to Show me the path to success! Basically, Power-ups give me TONs of Extra Coins. I use mine as soon as I can after I get one. GL, WIN BIG, lose small, LOL
YES. Thank you! You can win a couple billion on Mahjong if you must on a CW Challenge! But, You can win 10-20B in the same amount of time playing SparkPlug 100Hands/5K for a 500K bet with the same Charms if you have enough of them, LOL And the Maybe? loss on SparkPlug is is pretty meaningless compared to the gains.
It has been my experience that Fireworks power-ups increase the amount paid per pair like the Gold Match and Multi Match power-ups do. I know it can disrupt forward planned moves but it appears Fireworks always finds pairs so in the overall scheme of things it shouldn’t disadvantage you.
Just now on a large Mahjong Puzzle I kept careful track of the match payouts. On every match the payout was 90K. I used several Match, Multi-match, swap and extra energy power-up, and 2 shuffles. Payout was 90K on a match until the end.
I used Gold 5-Clover Charms on this game too. I didnt get no 1B payout from using the Charms.
I think y’all dont keep careful track of the payouts.
I never get anywhere near a billion coin pay out from charms in Mahjong but that’s probably because I don’t have enough to play to give me that much.
In the game guide it says it will pay extra coins for Gold Matches but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it on Multi Match and Fireworks too
Well, Do you mean a Golden Club Charm? If so, no wonder It is a Slow Pay-out Charm. You need to use FAST Pay Charms to get the Billions of Coins I use BlueTonic (500=1B) and Unicorns (200=1B), they are both Fast Pay Charms on this game. Also Mushrooms and Bats Pay Fast too. Not sure how many of those to make 1B because I do not use them. These Fast Charms PAY MILLIONS for each Match My Example—
I started this Board with 853,476,255,399 Coins.
I loaded 395 Unicorns and put that Stupid Cat on Topper.
My mistake was that the Cat was a Slow Charm
I would have made more Coins with Just Unicorns!
