I’m right with you on that April. People just need to grow up and act like adults. This is a game, but real people behind these avatars. It reminds me of high school. I don’t think this is going to solve anything, only create different problems. You can’t heal a gaping wound with a little band aid.
Sadly you are wrong. I blocked someone and a friend said that they were standing behind me. Knowing the person was in there and could see the charms flying from them right next to me freaked me out. I was scared and felt like I was being stalked because I found out they were there as well as being in the list to the left. I would rather see them also so I can make sure I am not standing by them. If I didn’t have the friend in the room along with everyone saying ty for the charms to them I wouldn’t have known. So sadly you are wrong.

I also found out after I blocked them they blocked me. But what I find strange is if I move to somewhere else in the room because a friend said they were next to me. Magically they end up following me to where I went. I can see what they are sending out to the party guests. So I just give up and will enjoy myself no matter what. I will ignore them now and just have fun with my friends.

yes, the blocked avatar is in the room only those blocking the person can’t see where they land but everyone else sees them. So, your wrong this disappearing act is only for blocked players everyone else sees where they are, so yes you could be on top of them. someone needs to let you know if you are like maybe the host.
And yes, just have fun regardless of who you see or don’t see it’s a game

I have been pretty lucky as well. But just in case, How do you remove someone from your party? And if i ever did block someone from rude or crude behavior, why are they even allowed to attend another one of your parties. If you block someone, they shouldn’t even have the option of coming to a party you host.
If you host a party just click the name hit block, if on your friends list you must unfriend first then block, as far as them going to other parties that’s up to the host to boot them,Cw has guideline rules you just report if its offensive CW handles it

i agree with April, this is ridiculous … i was at a party last night with a friend and he couldn’t see that the blocked person was right next to him … he kept moving and she kept moving on top of him and he didn’t know it … not good at all CW
yes the blocked avatar is in the room, you can’t see them but they can see you … it happened last night to a friend … he couldn’t see her and she was standing right next to him, kept getting in front of him even though i told him where to move to … he had to unblock her to where she was

This new “feature” will NEVER work! An invisibility cloak is not helpful! These “Harassers” are using Multi Profiles, basically “Spies” to get around the “Blocking’“ feature! 
You may be blocking one of them and friends with another? That is the only way they can continue to Locate and Follow you? Or have Minion Friends? 
These players should be Reported, Warned, then Banned for this type of behavior!

They should make it so that if you block someone, they can also not see you when in a party or anywhere else.
for example…
“I don’t see that person here”…”They could have you blocked, that’s why you don’t see them”
That is what they did!

Twice now in the last few days my husband has asked me what I was doing with my avatar as I was whacking someone in the head and walking all over them as I was dancing in a room. I could not see the person on my screen but on his it was very obvious that I was not being very nice to them. When looking in the list of players in the room I saw that the person I was inadvertently standing almost on top of and being “rude” to was someone who has blocked me. I have not blocked them. Not being able to see who is in the room can cause some inadvertent rudeness.
I try to make a point to move to an open area in the room so I am not being rude by stepping on others or hitting them with arm movements, but this “cloaking” is not helping that.
Please reconsider this decision as I think it may end up causing people to be blocked for actions they are not aware they are doing.

CW has it backwards, the person doing the blocking should be invisible to the one being blocked. My harrasser can still see me and continues to stand with me and dance, like we are a couple and we are not.

I try to move to a place where I’m not blocking anyone, but have been blasted for dancing on someone’s toes. They sent me a private message asking why I was so rude. I had no idea that I was even in the vicinity of anyone. Even if CW did put me on someone else’s feet, why does it create so much drama? It’s just an avatar and no one is being physically hurt. They can always move if need be and they are still receiving all the same rewards. It just seems childish to me to have this even be an issue.

I am confused. Someone is blocking me, however I choose not to block them; I am happy to answer to anyone. But they do not show as an avatar in the party room, only on the participant list. Is it the case that I can’t see someone if they block me but I don’t block them? That seems odd.
Or are they just hiding in the room…? 
@Megs22 All it takes is for ONE avatar to block another and both of you are invisible to each other in the room. No, they are not hiding.

My question is does that blocked person get the gems thrown? I don’t block unless they are rude or inappropriate and I really don’t want them to get the gems I throw. Some ppl can’t afford to throw and all of us have been there! This is a game with pretend avatars and I TRY to move. But for heavens sake it is not REAL.
