After changing my password and using the exact password I still cannot log into anything but the help center. going on 2 days now. tried using magic link and it links me to the help center also. I cannot access the site beyond this. FIX IT!
Hello @Hieronymus, please refer to this post for the workaround fix.
I am having the same poblem. I am unable to log into casino world. I am stuck on the help center page even after deleting the the help center forum in my history and restarting laptop. It was after I used the Magic link to log in. We are locked out. Not a pleasant experience and I have a party to host later. Frustrated!
Thank you Night Guy. I cleaned the cookies, history, etc and that is when I experienced the problem.
Hi @ReneePeace, I am so sorry youāre still having trouble! I know how stressful it is to be locked out, especially when you have a party to host later today.
To resolve this, please follow the steps in my post linked above. Sometimes browsers only clear data for the specific page you are viewing, but for this fix to work, it is really important to clear cookies & cache for both the forum and the main game site at the same time. Deleting them from just one unfortunately wonāt clear the glitch. I truly hope this helps you get back in.
That is exactly what I performed earlier, history, cache and cookies. I will follow the steps again, as I was a systems business analyst and this should not be so difficult.
Thanks.
Followed instructions, then rebooted, same problem. I am able to log in on iphone because I did not use the magic link. I will not host my parties until this issue is rectified. CW needs to fix magic link asap, as I am sure more users are experiencing this problem.
Hi @ReneePeace, Iāve recorded a short video walkthrough showing exactly how I bypass this. The magic link works the same as a standard password login; it doesnāt make a difference which you use. The browser often gets stuck in a redirect loop depending on which ādigital badgeā (cookie) is currently active.
To avoid the headache of constant cookie clearing, my long-term fix has been to use two separate browser profiles - one dedicated strictly to the Casino World forum and one for the game itself. This isolates the session data entirely so the cookies cannot āpoisonā each other. It is the most stable environment Iāve found to guarantee access without having to clearing cookies every time. I hope this helps you get back in for your party
Hello Night Guy. That is a good idea to use two separate browsers. I never thought there would be a need for that until now, as I never encountered such a problem. Thank you.
Renee (which is my real name).
I do that, and I get raspberriedā¦.
I only ever open the forum in a separate tab, I never try to move between the game and forum on the same browser tab,
Hi @Eddi_Bets, using separate tabs is definitely a step in the right direction. The only reason I suggest using separate browser profiles is that tabs in the same profile still share the same cookies and will conflict with each other. By using two separate browser profiles similar to you logging into your windows account (profile), guest account etc, you ensure the ādigital badgesā for the game and the forum never cross paths, which is what triggers that redirect loop.
@Northwoods_Girl, Iām so sorry to hear youāre still getting āraspberriedā! One thing that might be happening is the browser is refreshing the forum subdomain. After deleting the cookies, please try retyping Casinoworld.com manually into your URL bar rather than just hitting the refresh button. If you just refresh, the browser tries to reload the forum.casinoworld.com address, which can keep you stuck in that error loop and reload those corrupt cookies. Forcing it back to the main root site usually does the trick.
