Restart? Thatās the caveman like me solution to most computer problems
Iāve restarted my computer 5 times. Itās really bumming me out. Iām just hoping when I get on my computer tomorrow, it will be back to normal. Itās been 4 days like this. Iām kicking myself for wanting to click over into settings the other day. itās been like this ever since. So weird.
Happened to me again!! My cache was empty. I finally got back on siteā¦.
So far I have been lucky and had no interuptions on phone or web browser
Get a Chromebook. Youāll be fine.
This feels like a cookie or redirection error, especially since it references the same domain.
The Test: Try opening the site in an Incognito (Chrome) or InPrivate (Edge) window. If you can log in there, it confirms the issue is just your old cookies/cache.
The Fix: How to Clear Cache
For PC (Windows) Users:
- Chrome, Edge, Brave, & Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard.
- Select āCached imagesā and āCookiesā.
- Click Clear Data (or Clear Now).
For Mac Users:
- Safari: In the top menu bar, click History > Clear History. Select āAll Historyā and click Clear.
- Chrome & Firefox: Press Command + Shift + Delete. Select āCookiesā and āCacheā and click Clear.
For Mobile Users: Note: If you use the official Casino World App, it should always work without these issues. The steps below are for those who play on a mobile browser instead of the app.
Android (Chrome):
- Open Chrome > Tap three dots > History > Clear browsing data.
- Choose āAll timeā, check āCookiesā and āCached imagesā, then tap Clear data.
iOS (iPhone/iPad):
- Safari: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.
- Chrome: Chrome > Three dots > History > Clear Browsing Data.
Once you do this, restart your browser and it should work again!
For me, when I leave the forum and try to get back to playing, I often get a reload page.
I havenāt experienced any of these issues. When i come to the forum my browser opens a different page, so i can be here and at the main casino page at the same time without problems,
Iāve done this 3 times and still canāt get back to the games site, everything I try just brings me back here.
Hey @Michael_007, just to confirm: did you specifically try opening the site in an Incognito or InPrivate window? If you are still getting redirected even in Incognito mode, then itās definitely not a cookie/cache issue. Going to see if i can get to the bottom of it. I could be because of a Stale 301 Redirect in the browser cache or a Corrupted Bookmark.
Try this: Open a new tab (or incognito tab) and manually type casinoworld.com into the address bar (donāt use your saved bookmark, hit refresh or just hit enter on the old URL). Old bookmarks/URLs can sometimes get āstuckā pointing to weird redirects or old session IDs.
Yes Sir, tried that several times also before asking for help and Iām still getting redirected to here.
Hey @Michael_007, that is actually really helpful info. Since it happens even in Incognito mode, we know for a fact that cookies and cache are NOT the problem.
It sounds like your browser is ārememberingā a bad redirect link.
Try this specific trick to bypass it:
- Open a new tab.
- Go to Google Search (do not go to Casino World yet).
- Search for
Casino World. - Click the main result from Google.
This forces your browser to fetch a fresh link instead of using its saved (and likely broken) history.
For Mobile Users (Direct Link): If you are on your phone and want to bypass the app/landing page entirely, use this direct link. It forces the mobile browser version to load:
https://www.casinoworld.com/fx/indexHTML5.jsp?html5mobile=1
Network Test (if the above fails): Grab your phone to test your connection:
- First, try accessing the site on your phone while connected to your Home WiFi.
- Then, turn OFF WiFi and try again using just Mobile Data.
- If it works on Mobile Data but fails on WiFi: The issue is your home network, router or ISP.
- If it fails on both: The issue might be regional or a deeper account setting.
After this we can try doing some network/DNS caching fixes (rare, but possible).
The Network Isolation Test for your computer If all else fails, we need to check your Home network.
Computer Hotspot Test:
-
Disconnect your computer from your Home WiFi/Ethernet.
-
Turn on your phoneās Personal Hotspot (or use USB Tethering).
-
Connect your computer to your phoneās data.
-
Try loading the game on your computer.
-
If it works on the Hotspot: Your Home Router or ISP is the issue.
-
If it fails on the Hotspot too: we will dive deeper.
First, I forgot to to THANK YOU for your help. Second, didnāt work, still getān redirected back here. If it helps .. Iām on a PC using Firefox.
You are very welcome! Since our posts (my edits) crossed at the same time, please let me know if you get a chance to try the Network Isolation Test (Hotspot) I mentioned above or Mobile phone isolation test. That will give us more information to work on.
Another quick question: Where are you located? (Just general City/State). Also, if you are comfortable using the Command Prompt, could you run nslookup? I am curious to see what it lists as your Default Server.
Iām just outside Hiram, Ga. in the hills north west of Atl. close enough to see it.. but far enough that I donāt have to smell it. I aināt got a clue what āCommand Promptā is.. at 60years old what Iāve learned about computers in the past 30 years is very little and self taught. Sorry.
No need to apologize! It is truly impressive that you are self-taught. I would normally offer to hop on a call or remote into your PC to fix this for you quickly, but for your safety, Casino World and the moderators strongly discourage that.
We will just have to take it one step at a time here on the forum. Letās skip the āCommand Promptā stuff entirely, I donāt want to make this harder than it needs to be!
Question for the group: Has anyone else here experienced this same āredirection loopā to the forum? If you managed to fix it, please chime in and let us know what worked for you!
