How did anybody get back to casino world

I’m just outside Hiram, Ga. in the hills north west of Atl. close enough to see it.. but far enough that I don’t have to smell it. I ain’t got a clue what “Command Prompt” is.. at 60years old what I’ve learned about computers in the past 30 years is very little and self taught. Sorry.

No need to apologize! It is truly impressive that you are self-taught. I would normally offer to hop on a call or remote into your PC to fix this for you quickly, but for your safety, Casino World and the moderators strongly discourage that.

We will just have to take it one step at a time here on the forum. Let’s skip the ‘Command Prompt’ stuff entirely, I don’t want to make this harder than it needs to be!

Question for the group: Has anyone else here experienced this same ‘redirection loop’ to the forum? If you managed to fix it, please chime in and let us know what worked for you!

I imagine that if they’re like me and got out of this “Groundhog Day” loop and back to the games… they ain’t risking coming back in here again. :joy:

I know it’s a weapon of last resort, like bringing a M134 to a fist fight, but what about a “system restore”?

I strongly advise holding off on that for now. It feels like overkill because we still don’t know if the problem is your PC, your router, or a server setting, so doing that might not even fix it.

Do you have a smartphone handy? Please try going to this direct non app link on your phone’s browser while connected to your home WiFi: https://www.casinoworld.com/fx/indexHTML5.jsp?html5mobile=1

After that, turn off the WiFi and try again with just your mobile data. That result is key to figuring this out!

Sorry, just a old flip phone.. but I just remembered a old lap top. I’ll give that a try and get back to you. Edit: Once I got the lap top warmed up, I got signed in to the game site just fine, so it’s my PC. Lucky I got WiFi 6 months ago when ATT deleted my DSL because they got tired of fix’n the stuff in the “slick” down the road.

You probably tried this already but I saw earlier you said you were running Firefox browser on Windows. Have you tried installing another browser? ie: Chrome?

Maybe your browser installation got messed up.

clearing cookies and cache works but its only a bandaide as soon as you come back to the forum and leave again it loops you back to the log in error page

this is the error page you get

its happening everywhere too

7 Seas
Casino World
Vegas World

been like this for some of us for over a week now

That screenshot is perfect, @0_0Vegas_Lady. Now that I see exactly what is happening, I was able to replicate the issue on my end. I will get back to the group shortly with what I find!

i speak for a lot of us, thank you Night Guy, just to give you an update i did just get off the phone with flowplay, their customer service staff was most gracious and helpful and assured me their tech staff is fully aware of this looping pattern of going back to the login error page after visiting the forums.

it case anyone is having the same problems, you can log back in if you clear your cache and cookies but its only a temporary fix as soon as you go back to the forum and then try refreshing it loops you back to the log in error page

personally i want to thank you @Night_Guy for taking the time to look into this yourself, hugs and merry christmas to you and yours

I have isolated the exact trigger for the redirect loop. It is a broken Single Sign-On (SSO) Handshake between the main game and the forum server.

Here is the exact breakdown of the failure loop:

  1. The Handshake: You log into the game (7seascasino.com / casinoworld.com) and receive a valid Game Session Cookie.
  2. The Handoff: When you navigate to the Forum, the game passes you over via an SSO URL (the long link ending in sso_login).
  3. The Break: The Forum successfully logs you in, but it appears to overwrite or corrupt the original Game Session Cookie with a ‘Forum-Only’ version.
  4. The Crash: When you attempt to return to the game, the game server rejects this new ‘Forum Cookie’ and redirects you back to the Forum to authenticate again. The Forum sees you are already logged in and bounces you back to the game. Result: An infinite loop that eventually crashes with a ‘Login Timeout’ error.

The Workaround: You must clear your browser cookies for casinoworld.com / 7seascasino.com to fix the immediate error. After that, avoid visiting the forum while playing, or the loop will trigger again.

The Simple Explanation

Think of your “Cookie” as a digital ID badge.

  • The Problem: The Forum is accidentally scribbling over your ID badge with the wrong information. When you show that badge to the main Game, the Game doesn’t recognize it and kicks you out.
  • The Workaround: By deleting the cookie, you are essentially throwing away the ruined badge. When you log in again, the Game gives you a fresh, clean badge that works - just make sure you don’t go back to the Forum until they fix the glitch, or your badge will get scribbled on again!

@CaptainCrow You are too kind! Helping out is honestly just a joy. Patience definitely grows with age - partly from realizing how connected we all are, and partly from those younger days as a Geek Squad Double Agent. (You know how it is when someone calls up tech support and asks where the ‘any’ key is!)
We are all in this together. Back when photography was a semi-pro hobby (alongside various IT professions), helping others upgrade and trade gear was a big part of the fun. It taught an important lesson about perspective: sometimes, looking through a lens can make a person seem isolated. But putting the camera down reveals how interconnected the dots really are. It is just nice to play a small part in helping the community.

i think its very kind of you to take the time out of your daily routine to help others, for some of us, flowplay sites are our only source of entertainment, we dont drink or do drugs, we dont do video games or eat out, so when we lose our casino world connections it can be quite uncomfortable to cope with, for a lot of us sites like this become a second family, thank you @Night_Guy for explaining all this techno stuff in laymans terms we can all understand

If this works.. you won’t hear from me again.. so I just want to take the time now to THANK YOU for everything you do!

on a side note and completely off topic, i sometimes wonder if @Night_Guy rolls his eyes @@ and thinks to himself, " im surrounded by nimrods " :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha @0_0Vegas_Lady, I promise no eyes were rolled!

In all seriousness, definitely not. We are all equals here. Not knowing how to debug a weird browser glitch doesn’t mean anything, it just means you have a life outside of computer screens!

@Michael_007 You are welcome! But hey, that sounds like a farewell, I’d actually love to see you around in the game too, drop by our parties if/when you have a chance.
