The Simple Explanation
Think of your “Cookie” as a digital ID badge.
- The Problem: The Forum is accidentally scribbling over your ID badge with the wrong information. When you show that badge to the main Game, the Game doesn’t recognize it and kicks you out.
- The Workaround: By deleting the cookie, you are essentially throwing away the ruined badge. When you log in again, the Game gives you a fresh, clean badge that works - just make sure you don’t go back to the Forum until they fix the glitch, or your badge will get scribbled on again!
