Yes, the Coins are lost. We encourage players to collect Coins before creating or evolving monuments.
Hi @Samantha this is a different question from a player who is silenced on the forum and I have to be honest it is something I have wondered about myself, on a variety of forum users. Sometimes someone will ask a question about city building for example and you might think to look at their city before offering an answer but their forum user name doesn’t come up when you search for them in the game

Players can only come to the forum directly from Casino World. When this happens, the forum automatically creates an account with the avatar name and email. However, players change their names in Casino World, so they are also able to change their names on the forum. I set this up when players requested wanting the ability to change their names here.
Please note, players are silenced on the forum for violating Community Guidelines. Going forward, this player needs to direct their questions to Customer Service in a help request. Having someone else post on their behalf after they’ve lost the ability to post/comment is not appropriate. All help requests regarding the forum are given to me, so I’ll be able to answer this player’s questions that way.
