983 tries and FINALLY!!! I got a flaming lightning on a blue box. 1.7k gems, not a ton but at this point ill take what i can get lol.

Congratulations, @CaptainCrow ! I too have noticed a dearth of flaming lightning boxes–HOWEVER…
I am now 2 years on CW. (Anniversary is today!) Generally speaking, once I got it through my thick skull that all TB prizes help me to advance, I try to just shrug my shoulders and be grateful for whatever a box yields. Still, I occasionally feel some frustration when it seems that the universe is determined to withhold gems from me LOL!
Mostly, CW provides me with a way to challenge myself and unwind at the same time. Yes, I’d like to advance at a faster pace, but sometime you’ve just got to sit back and smell the roses!
@Smiling_Jim,Since i pay real money, its no a lot to ask for better then 1 in almost 1000 chance. That is simply not acceptable, CW has to do better, and i’d also like to sit back and smell the roses but all i smell is sh*t, so ill pass on that lol. gratz on 2 years tho, very nice!!!
I was on a bad streak for awhile like I said yesterday, but after yesterday, not so much anymore. I’m way lower level than you so my boxes are much smaller, but I got like 5 gem boxes yesterday so I can’t complain. Most of them were in the 100-200 range but 1 was 1,000 and at MS 56 I’m not complaining at all. But prior to yesterday I went like 5 or 6 days without one. But I honestly think that’s just all it is. “Streakyness”. You’re on a bad streak now but maybe all that means is your gonna clean house when your payoff comes due.

Ive never gotten more then 1 box with gems in a single day in over a year also, i wish lol.
I don’t know your in-game name or city. I was just assuming since you were saying your average gem box is like 1-2k and mine is like 1-200. Also I’m very new only been playing since like November so pretty much everyone is higher level than me. 
I never said my avg. box is 1-2k lol, i said i got a box with 1.7k in 1000 attempts. I also got a box for 3 k when i just started, but thats the only time i got that many, im not trying to agrue, im simply stating that when i pay real money i should have better odds on avg. then 1-1000 lol. Its all good lol, its really me just being frustrated, it will pass.
No doubt man. I’m in no way disagreeing with you either and can totally understand the frustration. I was frustrated too. I hope you get a good day like I did soon.
I’m just grateful for whatever I get in any box even though yes it is a disappointment when you choose a 4 hr box and only to receive the same prize as you would in a 10 minute box. That being said why would anyone ever choose the longer wait boxes unless they just wanted to get some sleep at night?

i always take the brown box, unless its a flaming/lightning or a short bubbling/lightning, its just those 2 boxes are very rare no matter the time lol.

Most of the time I click the longest wait box when I am going to bed or out for the day, but many times it’s the same prize as a brown box.
So far today i have 3 Flame/Lighting boxes with 1.7K, 1.4K and 5.8K in gems. PP’s have been slightly better but mostly between 1.3K and 3.2K at best.
I am wondering if there is a pattern to them. For example, at the beginning of the month i got 17.8K in PP’s and 9.7K in Gems…then a downhill slide after that for the rest of the month giving more Gold 7’s, Mystic Rubies, Golden Apples, and less PP’s and gems.
Is there a noticeable difference between beginning of the month and the rest of the month?

Could someone post a picture of what a flaming box with lightning looks like? Seriously, I don’t even know and how do I distinguish the difference?
@NashRivers, I feel like there is a pattern sometimes also, but my aching brain hasn’t been able to figure it out yet. I’ve had 2 flame/lightning boxes in the last two days, after having gone about 7 days without seeing them. So the only thing I’ve been able to conclude so far is that flame/lightning boxes DO exist, and they do show up, EVENTUALLY! LOL! Until them, I’ll just be doing what we all do, and work with what we get as best we can.
