Very discouraged

I am about ready to throw in the towel. After playing for over 3 years I just feel that I am making very little progress with never enough party passes or gems to help. Very discouraging.

Hang in there Lou, yes the passes and gems help, but until you can get them, just try to have some fun with the games.

Lou12 I almost quit this week no pp’s no gems croens only give me charms…but friends talked me out of it. Your not alone…

I can see why those totals sound unbelievable at first glance, but they really are achievable over time purely through regular game mechanics without continuous spending. That’s actually exactly how my wifey DG did it too - the only time she ever spent was $250 on a double gems pack to kick-start her city back in 2022, and never a dime since. In fact, between our family setups, we have multiple accounts sitting in the millions of passes and high six-figure gems.

Back in those days, gems were as easy to accumulate as party passes are now before TB yields were nerfed a few times over the years.

As you noted in another thread, an active city today can still pull in up to 1M passes in a single month. Sustaining consistent TB collections around the clock over several years allows passes to naturally stack into the millions.

The exact same principle applies to gems. Between steady Treasure Box payouts and Crown level rewards where players can land up to 30k gems at roughly a 40% to 50% hit rate - saving and hoarding those rewards rather than spending them builds a massive reserve over time.

It really just comes down to long-term compounding, consistent collection uptime, and patience. Just wanted to share that perspective so players know it really is something you can build toward over time through standard gameplay.

Totals for some of you folks are outstanding and unbelievable too me. How you are rewarded that many gems and PP in TB is shocking too me. The largest PP TB was 330 actually today with the PP Crew challenge going on. Coincidence? Guess where I spent it?

Gems are rare in TB. And when they do, it’s rare they even have many. Being VIP now for a little over a year, I am noticing some benefits. Rewards path, bonus season rewards, etc.

I generally play Jewels. I make some big bucks there not using charms. I save charms for challenges, or slots.

I’m on daily sign in at 420 today, got a 355 gem reward. Doing all challenges every single day/monthly.. moves you quicker on the path. I always reach the end of the patch before the season ends, but keep challenges completed to gain on the season totals.

Every day, I being a nothing better to do retire, turn on GDU (Good Day Utah), grab a cup of coffee, and log in. LOL… Sad but true… Point is, keeping a log in streak also has rewards. Fringo does that too, but that game has it’s drama… :joy: Dragon Mahjong also has in log in streak bonus. Not sure about others.

I’m a close to 17 Biliionaire, nowhere near the big dogs… Enjoy the Fun. We can all confess to ups and downs

@DB4Broncos, thank you for sharing as a new player I like to hear perspectives from other newer players as well. It really helps me apply it to my own challenges on here.

I hope your city yields more Gems for you!

Just my input here. I started in November 2024. By Dec 25 2025 (Christmas Day ironically),. I achieved MS for life. 13 months. HOW? following all the information and tips those ā€œBig dogsā€ were shareing in the forums. Applying what i could with my own ability to buy gems (very minimal) and putting 100% of my focus on building my city, choosing the right charms (Ponies for me) and where to play them when i had them (Mahjong at first). Then, was told that Golden 7’s and Red Rubies were best on 3 cark poker for faster returns. Also, staying away from most slots. They were killing my coins. It was parties, charms and using them on the best places. This was my full 100% focus, as well as buying, evolving and collecting on a regular basis. My city was my investment and i watched it carefully and listened to the Big Dog’s advice. That got me to Crown 1 after only 1 month of being VIP for life, and now, a new crown level every 2-3 weeks.

It CAN be done! I know, i did it! I spent less than $200 of my own money in the begining, and now, my city is self-sufficient with 436K PP’s last month. over 100K in the first week of this month. Gems, however, seem less and less these days. But hitting 1.4K on average when they do.

Read the forum, look at the big players advice and tips…play to evolve, not to win short gains. CW is a long-game…not a short one…

Forgot to mention one thing: you generally want to start saving resources once you reach at least 23 Ɨ L4 monuments or equivalent (~1.84M gems invested into your city). That ensures your brown Treasure Box is operating at its maximum payout tier.

A maxed-out city boosts the brown Treasure Box base payouts by up to a 10x multiplier:

Base Payout Max Payout (10x)
1,000 Gems 10,000 Gems
2,000 Party Passes 20,000 Party Passes
Luckiest 7 Charm Luckiest 7 Charm
Mystic Ruby Charm Mystic Ruby Charm
25M coins 250M coins

Keep at it @Lou12 and @DB4LBroncos! The most important part of the game is your city. Treat Casino World like a tycoon-style game where your city is the engine generating all your core resources. Especially when you are newer, it pays to reinvest every single gem right back into your city.

Hit GnGs and attend parties where hosts don’t care whether you toss charms or not. You are also more than welcome to drop by our weekly weekend pony parties during the second half of the month - I’d much rather newer players and anyone still building up their city save their gems and just collect what the veteran players drop.

My parties do run multiple overflows, so if you happen to land in a nearly empty room with just one other player (most likely my placeholder), please wait a few minutes or message me. We will head over right after the previous room wraps up!

Hang in there ,honey! Do you really want to throw away 3 years?

Yes NG us late comers have always heard how the first wave made MSs easy.

Us latecomers just suck it up.

I do buy $100 of gems every few months. But trying to hang on to 10K gems from the TBs.

Please do not give up Lou. I promise you it will all work out for you in the end. I have found that the more gems and pp’s that I use and bldgs that I spend my gems on, then I do recieve them back in my treasure boxes. Building on my city helps me recieve gems and going to parties helps me receive more pps. I feel like it’s a give and take sorta thing. If I play and give and give to others, bld on my city and try to attend parties, then I will be rewarded back with pps and gems. I really would hate to see you leave. Sometimes it takes a little patience to get things right where you want them to be. I personally like to keep a certain amount of gems and pps at all times as well as certain large charms at all times. Then just slowly add to all of that while still being able to play…patience is what I have. I find that the more I give away to others who are in need then I do get repaid in my TB. Paying it forward will NEVER hurt you or your game. SO please don’t leave. Give it a little more time. Love Charms

Night Guy, would you expound on what you wrote 4 days ago ā€œyou generally want to start saving resources once you reach at least 23 Ɨ L4 monuments or equivalent (~1.84M gems invested into your city). That ensures your brown Treasure Box is operating at its maximum payout tier.ā€
I’m a little over half way to 23xL4 monuments. It’s the ā€˜saving resources’ that I’m curious about. I’m saving now to build my city, and wonder how I might change my saving (Gems?, Charms?, Coins?) once I get to 23xL4.

By saving resources do you mean not buying Gems?

Good morning, Lou

I hope things turn around for with your TB payouts. I was ready to leave and call it quits as a new player and understand frustrations with the games and cities. I just try and keep it free now and have some fun with it. I no longer feel the need to contribute financial to the game.

On another note thank you all for the well wishes. I had a busy week with my wife and her Alzheimer’s she was accepted by the Mayo clinic for their experimental research that is yielding promising results for patients. Iam back home now and look forward to meeting more great people on CW!
