What are divisions?

What are the divisions? When I check my rank, it says, “Your division.” What does this mean? A lot of my friends are there but others aren’t. I understand the most productive area, but the division concept eludes me.

@Kbird

Everyone starts out as bronze and when you reach a certain coin level you move up, silver, gold and diamond league.

If you look at the challenge area of the game, Go to the Perks tab, go down to Lifetime Perks and click on it. :slight_smile:

Hope this helps. BB :slight_smile:

Kbird, A division means roughly the tier level of the cities. They have over 30,000 players each with their cities. The Most Productive is tier 1 or division 1. there are about 66 cities in tier i. The other cities are grouped into tiers 2,3,4 or divisions 2,3,4 whatever you prefer to call it, each tier or division has hundreds of cities. Hope this helps

I was looking at them too @Kbird and the city 4 divisions @Jimee mentioned seem to be called Legend Tier, Master Tier, Ace Tier and Pro Tier and within each of those there are numerically name tiers. I seem to move up and down the numerical sub-divisions of the tier I’m in based on when I buy new buildings or create monuments. I waited for the 200% speed-up on treasure boxes this month before I bought any thing and moved up 6 numerical tiers within my division in 24 hours

It seems I’ll forever be confused because none of these answers make sense to me. This concept escapes me more with each response I receive.

I think an easy way to understand it is in my mind - a way for CW to put people in an order of rank but instead of one massive Division from #1 to however many people there are in this game, they put people in Divisions. I have noticed the number of people in a Division changes as I have seen 74, 65, 69, 72, etc. Currently at this moment I see it is 67. To see this you would just click the right arrow in your division until you get to the last person listed in the Division.
So it then gives you something more manageable to try to improve within your Division and hopefully move to a lower Division number over time which can be a while if you are not buying many buildings or it can be quickly if you are buying many higher Tier buildings and evolving monuments. Moving little steps is physiologically rewarding over seeing you have to move a thousand steps.
Hope this helps.
