Why don't you add Gems to the Sea of Riches?

Adding gems in the Sea of Riches

For a limited time, people who joined had gems as a prize on SoR. But most people did not have them, and they were removed from the game earlier this year.

Gems are the one thing people can buy, besides MVP memberships, so I don’t see FP adding them back to the game.

Sea of Riches had gems as possible prizes on all three spinners - Bronze, Silver, and Gold. The most recent pictures I still have of gems in the spinners was June 2024. The highest number of gems on the gold spinners was 400. With the 2x prize day, I sometimes got 800 gems in a spin. Eventually, CW took away the gems and replaced them with building bucks prizes, which they hadn’t had on the spinners at all before that. @Night_Guy or somebody else might have the actual dates of those changes.

I think it would be great to have those gems back the way they were.
”If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it!” (as it pertains to the way it was with the gems)

@CruisinPast But not everyone had them. Only people who joined during a limited time frame had gems in their SoR game. I have been playing for four years, and did not have gems as part of SoR.

Gems used to be part of the prize selections. They were taken away at one point.

Not for everyone. I’ve been here for four years and never had gems in SoR.

Big E I have been here five years and never got them either. They were here before our time and the knowledge shared by other members who have exceeded 6 years.

I started in May of 2020 I had gems on sea of riches they were taken off for a reason that was never explained to us who had them. They should have always been for everyone I had no idea some did not have them. If a game costs gems to play you should get gems added for prizes, this game takes far too much time to play for the prizes offered anyway, even when they added the building tokens, they are so little not worth the time. Wish CW would bring the gems back on the wheels, why not what’s it hurt

I started here in 2022 - there were no gems for me.

For the player whose city is not maxed out, building tokens are as good as gems if your chief use of gems is to build your city.

Also, you don’t have to wait on Sea of Riches, you can reload and all your prizes are collected. I wait until double rewards day to play my tokens.

I don’t just use gems only for my city never have. I do parties and gift a lot of players to help them advance also, so getting gems helps a lot, I enjoy helping others not just myself
