Are there any benefits to hosting a party?
Extra charm (26 instead of 25 (or 27 vs. 26 if you are VIP)) however you must attend (host) in order to obtain the extra charm. GL

There are also Rewards for your Achievements on your Profile Page. You can see them here under General on your Party Charms Tab.
When you Host and Attend your Parties you get Credit for the Charms you and your Guest Recieve! For Example - You Host and Attend a X10 Cola Party that Fills… You get 260 Colas+ and your 24 Guests get 250 Colas+… 24X250=6000 Charms Credit towards your Party Achievements! 
The Largest Reward is 500M Cions for the Charmer! “Give 100000 Party Charms”! That is about 17 Parties at the X10 Level. 
So, Have a Party! Beginners can Benefit GREATLY!

I kinda think almost anything you do on CW goes into some kinda math formula that might give you better benefits somehow. So if you Host Parties maybe you get some reward sometime. Anyway if you Host and your Parties are Fun & Bust, more People want to come to your Parties. I kinda hate waiting for a Party (mine or not) to fill. Then I kinda hate when a Party doesnt bust.

I wonder if there’s a connection between hosting parties and tb yields. My tb seems to more readily deliver party passes after I host a party. Anyone experience similar results?
Treasure Box rewards are not influenced by hosting parties. They are only influenced by the value of your City.

I host a lot of Unicorn parties (Usually 10x Ponies) and I do so when the “extra charms” are achieved in the rewards path each month. The benefit for me hosting is that I get extra charms for hosting, and another extra charms for having the “extra charm” reward initiated.
For example, I host a 10x Unicorn and i will receive 250 Unicorns, + 10 for hosting + 10 more for the extra charms from the monthly rewards. So, 270 Unicorns in total. Do that enough times in a month and it can add up to a LOT more Unicorns to use!
